I've stayed at this B&b several times, the first being 9-11. The innkeepers, Sue and Tim Haigh, were very caring and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The house itself is a large Victorian family home with a lovely garden, books, quilts, interesting artwork from their travels. It was comfortable with a good hardy breakfast. There are a dog and 2 cats on premise, so being an animal lover I enjoyed having them around. Sue and Tim are very knowledgeable about their city and were very helpful in every instant. I highly recommend staying if you are looking to get a feel of the real hospitality of a normal British family. It is also convenient to the train station (7 min walk), although hilly and many stairs at the station itself. read more
