The more you tell the Dr, and if your open & honest about your condition, the better a job they can do. However, Dr Tiernan will let you ask questions and spend some time with you , so you know what to expect, and what your recovery time is likely gonna be and what procedures he might use and why. This way you know a likely outcome. Good guy, straight forward, no BS. And hes got time for you. How many Dr's do that these days? The staff is excellent. The ladies are very friendly and are asking you how ur feeling while doing therapy. I feel if their was an issue with how you feel, they would notate that so the Dr knows. They just wanna help. They are very kind. They will work with on ur scheduling appointments and on payments as well. I do not know anything about Dr Tien. I spoke to her several times while waiting, and she was very friendly , but did not get any exams or therapy done thru her. Parking can be a bit tight as they share the lot with other businesses but usually its not a problem. This is the place to go!

Before taking off my shoes, he ruled out gout. I had two ingrown "Big" toe nails which were causing me a great deal of pain with walking, standing, climbing stairs, etc. I had stopped playing sports due to the discomfort. He thoroughly explained what he recommended. He did a block on both toes which was not uncomfortable at all. He was gentle, personable and professional throughout my office visit. He billed my insurance, gave me written instructions for post procedure care and scheduled a follow up visit two weeks later. I have to give this doc his props. I work in healthcare so I know excellent care when I see or receive it. Run, don't walk, to Dr. Fenlon's office for any foot problems that might ail you. You won't be disappointed. Thank you.

Doctor Curry is the most knowledgable podiatrist I have seen. I have completely flat feet and need…read morearch-support orthotics in order to walk long distances. Over the years I've had half a dozen different foot doctors. During my initial examination Dr Curry had me walk to observe my gait, and during his examination pointed out other problems with my feet that no other doctor informed me of. It's important to me that I understand what the issues are. His orthotics cost around $450, so they weren't cheap but they were not unreasonable either. But the orthotics I received are made of cork with a real leather exterior, both on top and bottom. So they will last me for many years. I am quite pleased with his knowledge, insight and quality of service and strongly recommend Dr Curry.

I searched throughout my insurance network and this was the one podiatrist office that didn't complicate getting an appointment. I was able to get an appointment with only a short wait time. The office is located in a convenient location, it's right off Lincoln Ave and a block off Damen. There is a train stop, Irving Park, not to far from the office and several buses run near the office. It was easy to get to the office. During my visit I was paired with Dr. Heidi Hoffman, she is amazing! I arrived a few minutes before they opened and Dr. Heidi Hoffman allowed me to come in so I didn't have to wait outside. She was friendly and very educational. As I mentioned above, I came into the office for toe pain that was making it hard to use shoes. She listened to my issue and quickly noticed what could be causing the pain. She was able to give me a instant short-term pain relief and gathered whatever was needed for additional tests. She was also able to help me understand more things about my foot. After the appointment, I was updated roughly a week later about the results of the test and given instructions on how to deal with the continuous toe trauma that she discovered. It's been a few months and my toe barely aches when I put on shoes. I can press on the toe that had the issue and it doesn't hurt. It was the complete opposite a few short months ago. I would highly recommend coming to Lincoln Foot and Ankle Center for all of your needs.

I have terrible foot pain during my maternity leave. I saw a foot doctor who had me in and out in…read more15 minutes, gave me no care plan or follow up steps. Then a few days later called to say he ran my insurance and xyz is what would be covered for custom orthotics and asked when could I come in for measurements. It felt shady so I decided to go somewhere else. Then I went to Dr. Hoffman. She spent a lot of time with me. She took x-rays and went over them with me. We talked about my foot shape and what I should be looking for in a shoe. She recommended going to Fleet Feet for a (free) foot measurement and shoe consultation. She then made a conservative plan of treatment (better shoes, stretches, PT) that could be elevated to custom orthotics if this doesn't work. She diagnosed a nerve issue that can only really be treated by PT/form change while exercising (aka not orthotics). She was encouraging of PT ASAP because as I've had a baby this year...I've already hit my insurance out of pocket max. It's a small thing but just made me feel confident that she was looking out for my best interests. She also gave me personal anecdotes about her own experience with plantar fasciitis as it related to my own case that made me feel hopeful and like I won't be in pain forever. I really value feeling "cared for" by the medical professionals I see, and this is what I got from Dr. Hoffman.
