What they fail…read moreto say is they wanted us to take the bike back for adjustment and could not tell me when it will be done. The store was 2 hrs from our campground. Their technician does not have a schedule with them. The owner also said at anytime in transporting this bike it could have the same problem with gears not working. I called Lectric and they said that was not true. There are always exceptions like not being careful with transport but my husband and the owner put it in the truck very carefully and we had to issues driving back. I also fielded a complaint with Lectric. I'll be filing a complaint with the BBB when I get home. Th person they gave me to call laughed at me when I asked about service saying he doesn't go to that part of Florida. They never suggested an alternative. His wife answered the phone when I called back regarding the service tech she became belligerent, telling me they don't have time to help me find a way to get my bike fixed. I paid $1500 for the bike helmet upgraded seat. I test road a bike and was sold another one. Told they sold me a new not ridden bike. Which is fine except its gears don't work. Lectric sent me a list of bike shops near where I live to get the repair done at the expense of Lectric.

The red fish I brought in the boat was the nicest red I've ever caught at 26.5 inches and fat...would have been an inshore tournament winner to be sure. First issue was with our 255 Open…read moreID. we had bought it from a non scarab dealer and wanted it completely gone over. they recommended a "jetpump service" as we were at 200 hours and they said it's recommended at 150. They charged me for the jetpump service, even the orings were on the invoice. 10 hours later, my starboard jetpump went. Mobile mechanic verified they missed an oring, causing it to fail, and I had to replace the jetpump. 10 hours after that (20 total) my port side pump went. Wavetec became invisible when I sent them the video of what the mobile mechanic found. fast forward to this week. purchased a brand new 285 and took delivery of it Saturday of Easter weekend. was told "scarabs require a 20 hour service". I also had a few warranty issues I wanted logged and started with Scarab. they confirmed yes, there is a 15 hour service and then every 50 hours. $1100 dollars for that "15 hour service". Except there isn't a 15 hour service or a 20 hour service. it's a 50 hour service. then I found out it's 50 hours for the first and 100 hours after that. These guys cheat, lie, and steal. I would NOT recommend them, EVER, unless it's absolutely strictly warranty work.

We had a CraigCat for most of the day, and paid less than the 1.5 hour tour we did a few years ago. The drop off location allows you to have a great place to explore from with lots of options. The boat was in great condition, and all of those things that I am use to paying extra for were included. Loaded cooler with ice that is already secured to the boat? Check? Radio that also connects to your phone? Check. Let me tell you, so many people were checking us out and chatting with us when we hopped on an island.
