I finally got an appointment and was told if I didn't have proof of updated vaccines they would not be able to provide service. I emailed the record to them since their online platform was not uploading it. When I arrived for the designated appointment there was no greeting or welcoming face. I was asked if I wanted to speak with someone and when I asked who that was I was told it was the groomer. I said sure. While waiting I asked if they need to see the vaccine record and was told no they had it (thanks for letting me know). A woman came out of the grooming area and took my dog (but it wasn't the groomer whom I was told would be working on my dog). I was just left in a confused state and not very comfortable about leaving my dog there. They did a decent job on the mini groom and my dog did not seem stressed so well done .

We left to go to Disney World Tuesday morning and came back Friday afternoon. When we picked him up all of his food was still in the bag along with his dog treats to chew on. When we called, whoever was at the front desk said that they had "a computer error" and that his feeding instructions were not available. Can somebody tell me why they didn't call us for four whole days? Our dog looked exhausted, and not himself. When we put some food in front of him at home, he devoured it. The woman said that they fed him other food, but that he didn't eat a lot. He just sort of grazed. How do we even know that's true? We were not able to figure out how to view him on the camera system at all. When we dropped him off in the morning for his personality test, they thought that he didn't actually have a reservation. But then they found it. Also, I was told to fill out the 17 page survey online, which, by the way, asks, completely stupid questions. I was told to fill the survey out online and then also print it off on paper to bring it in because something to do with their computer systems. Also, by the way, I emailed his shot records, but they couldn't find it due to their "computer systems" so they asked me to bring in a printed copy. We had some misgivings about the place based on all of the apparent computer problems. I think the term "computer problem" for them is really just a euphemism for we are confused, incompetent, and completely disorganized. I will never trust our dog with these morons again.

When we got them back they went from completely untrained to trained in every way! Door manners, in the car, on the leash, and other basic commands, you name it! They were crazy about food and now they will sit in front of food and wait to eat it when they are told. It's amazing! We then brought them back for a tune up when our son was born. It was awesome knowing they were with people who knew them and loved them. Our dog Charlie ran and jumped in the lake immediately! Happy as can be. A huge shoutout to Derrick! When our son was born 4 weeks early he went out of his way to pick our dogs up when we were stuck at the hospital. He truly loves the dogs and cares about the families. You can tell this is his passion and it shows through his work! Lastly, Anthony has been fantastic to work with throughout too! Due to him and Derrick we will continue bringing our dogs back here when we need boarding knowing they are in the BEST hands. If you're looking for a great training facility with the best people, look no further. You found them!

Our little dog enjoyed the Pet Paradise pet resorts. When she boards or stays for daycare, they…read morekeep the small dogs separate from the big dogs. I appreciate being able to check in on my dog on their website cameras. We recently tried having her groomed and booked a "mini-groom". The check I process for our appointment was a bit chaotic, but they made up for the time by finishing her grooming session quickly. Each time I've checked in it seems a bit chaotic lol. I'm used to paying for a full groom for what they charge for a mini-groom, but my dog came out happy and smelling good so that's all I really care about. Thanks for taking care of my pup.

Woodford has been a frequent visitor to Petparadise in LWR for seven years. He was 8 months old the…read morefirst time he went and was a handful of puppy energy. He LOVES going there squirming the entire way there to this day! He loves they staff and I believe he has them all wrapped around his paws. He is now a very large dog and still acts like the world spins around them. He lives on a farm and I was concerned he wouldn't get enough exercise during his stay. I can confidently say he is tired out when he get home but not missing us one bit. Which is exactly what I want. I don't want him to be missing us while we are gone I want it to be a treat for him. AND a relief for us. I never hesitate to leave him when I am called out of town on business. He has stayed from 1 week to 3 weeks and he goes back again with a happy wag! Word of advise we started with several daycare drop offs to let him get used to the idea that we would come back for him so that he didn't think we just left him. I think doing that in the beginning really help him see this as his vacation resort spot! He was a rescue and had separation issues. But, not any more he doesn't even look back just runs right in to see his friends. I also make sure all his food is put in baggies with some special treats. I give the staff a note of all the tricks he has learned and a small bag of treats on the longer stays so that he understands that they are the boss in my absence. Makes it fun for the staff too. Someone there even taught him to turn around in the opposite direction, which I could never get him to do. They have never missed a feeding. God forbid he would let them. Now he does play with the other big dogs, he is a big Ridgeback and even so he will get some scratches and nips. I'm sure he had a blast getting them! But the staff always point them out. He's a dog not a child. Don't get the wrong impression he is very well trained. He was trained as a support dog at a facility with a certificate of graduation. He is also seen by NewDay Vet and they are just as wonderful! The staff noticed a bump during one of his stays and since he has NewDay as his vet all was taken care of without me having to worry. Dr. Vikki is great the entire staff is really caring. He has had several small bumps removed and still give everyone wet kisses. Signing up for the Vet Care plan make getting him his treatments easy. I always get him the wash and go since he sweats like a pig and I usually am to exhausted to think of doing that as I get home. I get his nails trimmed also...He screams like a stuck rug rat when I do them practically passes out, the drama queen antics. Well worth the $10 and they tell me he just stands there. So, again never be afraid to leave him.

Our bulldog is still like a puppy and our frenchie is a senior cranky old man who requires medication and a cautious hand. We appreciated the report card she sent and the photos and videos. We have a senior frenchie who can be a little difficult, but she took great care of them both. We will definitely use her again for sure!

Unprofessional Bait-and-Switch - Beware - Everything you DON'T WANT in a pet sitter…read more I contacted Caroline at Ohh My Dog for in-home overnight care for my two senior, anxious dogs for a 12-day trip. She provided a full detailed quote for 12 nights of in-home pet sitting ($1,760) and encouraged me to pay a $20 fee for a meet-and-greet to "ensure the dates are set". As soon as I PAID the fee, the service she "offered" completely changed. Despite being explicitly told my dogs cannot board elsewhere due to anxiety issues, she pivoted and repeatedly pressured me to have them stay in her home. She then claimed she "only accepts one pet sitting client (in your home) a month" and eventually stated she doesn't do in-home sits longer than 7 days (despite quoting me for a 12-day in-home stay just days earlier)--crucial information she conveniently left out until after she had taken my money. Trying to schedule the paid "meet-and-greet" was a series of unprofessional excuses: * First Cancellation (Substitution): Caroline deferred the first meeting to her walker, Grace. I paid the fee to meet the person who would be staying in our home. Meeting a walker who Caroline herself admitted "can't help with walks or anything during the week" does not fulfill the professional requirement for a 12 night in-home sitter meet-and-greet. * Second Cancellation (The Yogurt): Caroline canceled our second in-person meeting the morning of, claiming food poisoning from yogurt that had been expired for two months. Yep--Yogurt. * The Reality: Then she asked me to bring the dogs to HER house for the meet-and-greet and AGAIN suggesting for the 12 night stay with my dogs be moved to her house, continuing to ignoring the need for my dogs to remain in their own environment. * The Virtual Dog Meet and Greet Inconsistency: She then tried to force a "virtual" meet-and-greet because she didn't want to make the 50-minute drive. I explained this is useless for in-home care, as a sitter cannot assess a home's layout, security, or a dog's specific behavioral needs through a screen. When I pointed out that I paid the fee with the understanding that she sitter would be visiting our home to evaluate the environment for the 12-night stay. Now it was also obvious that she could not fulfill the service I originally requested and paid to discuss, she refused to refund the fee and "terminated" our service, claiming the meeting with her walker counted as a finished job. This business will quote you for the service you want just to take your deposit, then provide only what is convenient for them. Extremely unprofessional, misleading and quite honestly LAZY (I won't get into "The Yogurt")...
