My partner had the pickerel and red potatoes and he was very happy as well. We had a nice chat with the bartender who is a long time resident--my partner grew up in the area so he really enjoyed catching up on history and changes around town. As an added bonus we got to watch folks fishing for walleye in the river, and then enjoyed a nice walk along the park.

On this occasion our party of three had cedar planked salmon, red snapper and shrimp, lemon scented salmon with corn salsa and black beans. We also had a wedge salad, seafood bake appetizer and cup of clam chowder. The chowder is a staple and has lots of chunks of potatoes and clams. Wedge salad is good- not in my top 5 but certainly in the top 10. Made right/ great blue cheese dressing! Personally the red snapper and shrimp was lovely. Crusted with Parmesan cheese the red snapper had a nice exterior. I had double veg and appreciated the asparagus. All the food was great the appetizer was awesome.
