I had the perch fried with baked potato and coleslaw. The perch was fantastic--very lightly breaded--and served with a big chunk of lemon and yummy tartar sauce. My partner had the pickerel and red potatoes and he was very happy as well. We had a nice chat with the bartender who is a long time resident--my partner grew up in the area so he really enjoyed catching up on history and changes around town. As an added bonus we got to watch folks fishing for walleye in the river, and then enjoyed a nice walk along the park.

She didn't have to ask me twice; I will always say yes to more bread and cheese! She only charged us $2.00 to take all of it which was awesome of her! We also had a wedge salad, seafood bake appetizer and cup of clam chowder. The chowder is a staple and has lots of chunks of potatoes and clams. Wedge salad is good- not in my top 5 but certainly in the top 10. Made right/ great blue cheese dressing! Personally the red snapper and shrimp was lovely.
