So, I wasted all those months just waiting. I then pointed out the reason for the inspection was to DO more, but she had no interest. In my conversation with Rodney we had discussed octane, so apparently me asking for a reminder of what should be in the tank made it "maintenance". I then emailed Rodney directly and received NO response at all. I found this surprising after his prior call to set everything up. I had a $40k budget, but that was apparently too small for them. I would not recommend.

I was frankly skeptical because all the videos I watched detailed an elaborate process to removing all the stuff on top of the engine before you can even get to the coils/plugs. Much to my surprise he was able to gain access by just removing the engine cover. So he evaluated the problem, went and bought the parts and installed them, all in just a couple of hours. I was amazed. Austin was professional, confident and thoughtful. I would recommend him without hesitation. Even though the car has not had the P0306 DTC or the Check Engine Light reappear so far over a few cold starts I realize that the problem may not be fixed. I understood that this was just the most likely cause of the problem and that's not Austin's fault. He did what I asked him to do and I couldn't be more satisfied.

Answer-you selected the Geico Express Service which takes longer. What?? Another week and asked where is my car? Waiting to go into the paint shop; sitting under a tree in a chain link dirt lot; just where anyone would park a convertible. When will it go into paint? Answer-soon. Started calling daily. Reception is now very unfriendly and snippy. It will get done when it is done. Another week and got the car back. Complained about the poor paint match (probably a too thin pearl color coat) and the misaligned bumper. I was stunned when the fellow says our work is guaranteed so you can bring it back anytime and we will fix it. Oh goody, another month hoping the work is done right the second time. Why Gross could not get the job right the first time is a mystery. Our schedule took us out of the United States for a few months so we paid another body shop to fix Gross's shoddy work when we returned.

I have a lot of amateur radi equipment i my Hummer H3. The total current draw from the radios and…read moreamps can be 180 amps. I installed 2 Odyssey PC1500 batteries and had him build a 14.4 vdc alternator at 300 amp output. It works perfect. The Odyssey batteries are 13vnc instead of 12 volt so the charge voltage needed to be raised. The engineers at Odyssey recommended the 300 amp charge rate. I also purchased a 20 amp charger from Odyssey to condition the batteries. Since doing this, there have been no problems with any of the charge circuit and after 2 years there is no discernible degrading of the batteries. I checked the current output capacity and it has no problem in providing up to 285 amps. This is about all the computer actually demands to keep up with high current drain which is seldom. Most of the time I only use about 120 amps current draw while on HF and using a 500 watt rf amplifier. I regularly check the output with a portable Fluke 199c Oscilloscope and see good clean DC voltage with no noise even while high current demand. I do this because I have over $20,000 worth of radio equipment that needs proper and safe voltage. I have never had any damage to any of my equipment .
