Took my Rpod here for winterization last fall. First trip out this year the water pump won't work…read more After some detective work I discover the strainer is busted and laying loose in the compartment. They apparently neglected to remove it during the winterization leaving it full of water over the winter. Luckily this is our test run so only a one night trip. New strainer was $24. Not even going to bother asking them to cover the new part.

The information we were given was great and we didn't feel stupid for asking rookie questions. They made us feel that our concerns were important. each and every question was answered with a professional answer...We did not get a run around at all. From Jerry who gave us all the info on our trailer we chose and worked up a very good and no pressure price (Yes, no pressure, he didn't come out to the lot and hound, we were left alone to look as long as we wanted) to Sarah, she was the one who guided us thru the purchase....very professionally! to Jeff. Who is a RV god in my opinion. walked us thru the trailer, explaining everything we needed to know about our RV, Jeff is a good dude and knows his stuff. The trailer: a 2009 Rockwood Ultra Lite. This was a great find. everything works and she is in great shape. She will serve us for many years to come and we look forward to many campouts with her. On the way down to pick up our RV, my wife told me about the shower handle and that it had a crack on the fitting. When we did our PDI we noticed that they had replaced it with a brand new one. Very cool guys!!! Our over all experience with Jerry Presley RV in Decatur, Il was awesome and we will go back when it is time to buy our next RV and will refer others to do business with them. I can't say enough about how pleased we are with our purchase and know that if something does go wrong with our RV, The experts are only a phone call away. Bob & Peg Henning

This Camping World has left me with the WORST EXPERIENCE while buying a camper from them. I've been…read moretrying to get a refund for scheduled service on my 2024 Keystone Cougar that they convinced me to purchase at the time, said they would call me when the parts come in. Fast forward 4 months and no call was ever made. I called to see what was going on and they claimed they lost the service ticket but have my parts. Now I'm out of the state and unable to come back so we jumped through hoops to get a refund started for me. It's been a month since a check was supposed to be mailed out and this so called "sales manager" Aaron apparently is only in the office 1 day a week it appears because I've called about everyday and he's never in or able to return call. It's been months and yall continue to SUCK.

So here is the latest update after a continued debacle with Camping World Springfield and the…read moreawning replacement. First of all, they finally got back to me and scheduled a date for me to drop off the camper to have the new awning installed. When I picked up the camper, took it home, and opened the awning, I was appalled at their selection. I was clear that it had to be blue fade, but the one they ordered had polka dots all over the second white fade section as well as all the other fade blue sections. I NEVER would have agreed to this pattern. Second, Jason Lowe told me over the phone they bought the new awning from Shad Pro, and that it was their second quality awning, or what Shade Pro calls "Premium" with a full white underside. But what they actually ordered and installed was a lesser quality awning than the original Dometic awning I bought that also had a full white under side. Third, to make matters worse, they never installed the two set screws at the top right and left side of the rails which prevent the awning from shifting left or right, thus creating misalignment and uneven wear. Fourth, the neglected to add enough spins to the torsion spring, so when I try to close the awning, I have to physically push on the arm brackets to get it to close completely. Fifth, as if the previous four were not bad enough, I still have no resolution on the improperly installed awning. It is now September 8, and no one calls me back to get this resolved and make it right. Here's my original complaint from August 20. I needed to have my awning replaced on my 18' Toyhauler. They wanted to charge me $800 just for the awning, so I bought it myself for half the cost, and asked them to install it. Well, they ripped the awning when installing it back in early July, and here we are nearing the end of August, and I have no resolution, and nobody calls me back. I even met with the service Manager Jason Lowe two weeks ago and he said he would take personal responsibility for a resolution, but he has not called me back even once. I am highly dissatisfied with their service. Aaron, who I originally worked with and who informed me that they ripped my awning, has not replied to my emails, nor called again for an update. I hope they get things figured out soon because I have another trip planned in October, and want my awning repaired before the trip. As of this moment, I would NOT recommend using their services. Um, Awning Replacement 101...remove all sharp edges on the rails. This is basic stuff even a do-it-yourselfer knows. I can't believe they don't practice even basic knowledge.

Stay far away from this dealer. They are very dishonest. This past week I stopped in to look at…read morepop-ups. They had a used 2001 Coleman with all the bells and whistles for $3,500. This was the only pop-up they had. I expected it to be in pretty bad shape with it being 12 years old, but from the outside it looked very nice. The inside was in very good shape as well. I informed them that I was interested, but needed to talk with my husband first. After I spoke with my husband, we decided to go ahead with purchasing the pop up. I called R&S the same day and told them that I was coming back in about 2 hours to buy it as long as everything checked out okay. I asked that they set it up, turn the gas on, and put some water in so I can ensure everything worked. The man on the phone flat out told me he would not do any of this. His excuse was that it might rain and I may not even show up. This was red flag number one, which I mistakenly ignored. I took $4,000 out of my bank account in cash and drove the 1.5 hours back to R&S to buy the trailer. When I arrived, they had actually pulled it into the garage and had it set up. However, they still refused to let me check the function of the stove and water tank/pump. They kept telling me the previous owner had never used the pop-up. That may be true, but that doesn't mean the previous owner of 9 plus years didn't take it out every weekend and use it. They fed me more BS by saying that everything on the pop worked great. But in reality, they had zero knowledge on what worked on the camper as it had just arrived on the lot the day before. Nothing on the camper had been checked out yet by R&S. So they expected me to buy the pop up with knowing if anything worked, which would be like buying a used car without turning it on or testing driving it. No one in their right mind would do that. At this point I was pretty ticked. It was ridiculous. There was no customer service. The older sales women acted like a clueless idiot and would not take responsibility for anything. The older man was a chauvinistic pig that assumed because I was a women I didn't have half a brain in my head. I probably did jump a bit to quick into the decision that I wanted to buy, but my smarts prevented me from making a big mistake in the end. They were not going to waste any of their time until I handed them the 3500 bucks. Luckily I found a large crack/hole in the plastic on the front of the pop up. It was clearly big enough that water would leak in when it rained. I took a look under the trailer and what do you know 1/4 of the floor was rotted away. I could stick my entire finger through the floor and chunks of it crumbled in my hand. Once I found the damage, all the sales people disappeared. They didn't want anything to do with me anymore. I pretended I was still interested even after I found the hole to see if they would come down in price and to see how they would react to me now that I caught them in several lies. They said they would need to contact the owner about coming down in price (more BS). They took my name and number so they could call me back. Surprise, surprise they never called. That was final straw that made my decision to write a review about them. I normally don't waste my time with such things, but I want to prevent other people from getting screwed over by them. Thankfully I only lost 6 hours of my Friday and nothing more. I feel sorry for the poor sole who is going to get conned into buying that pop up with a rotted, moldy floor. Everything happens for a reason though as I have found a 3 year old Jayco (much better brand then Coleman) for under 5,000 in Maroa. Oh R&S.... if only you had played your hand differently. I plan on smearing your name on every RV website I can find.
