I stayed one night at this B&B, I was visiting the distilleries there. The lady who runs this place is lovely. She is very warm and welcoming, and very helpful with lots of information. I would have given this place 4 stars is WIFI was available like it says on their website. Well, there is wifi, but you have to go to the shared bathroom to get the signal. So in your room, there is no wifi. And as it says on their website, tea/coffee making facility is available in the room. But when I checked the contents of tins, I just lost interest. They didn't seem to be fresh, and in fact, biscuits were expired few months ago..... I'm usually not picky with expiration dates, but if I am paying to stay somewhere, I expect things to be clean and fresh.
I stayed in Tiger Lily, it was cute and cozy, and the bed was very comfortable. And the breakfast!!! She will ask you what kind of breakfast you want, and I requested the traditional Scottish breakfast, since I haven't tried it yet, and it was HUGE!!! And endless tea. I may go back there, but I will have to ask questions before I book there again....
Also, if you want a dinner there on the day you arrive, make sure to let her know ahead of time. And if you are planning to get dinner in Dufftown, make sure to make a reservation, or get dinner before 7pm.
