This woman LOVES succulents... all conceivable varieties, morphs, colors, geographic regions. You'll find it all here. And she's ready to help you understand why you will also soon be a collector of succulents. Four Seasons occupies the end space of a small strip mall just off 880 in San Leandro. Their indoor shop is filled with pots she's sourced mostly from China. But outside, in the sun, are all the assorted succulents she has curated from all over the world. There are Mediterranean succulents, South American, African, Australian, Asian... it all gets overwhelming at some point. But the owner is always roaming and ready to fit your home space reality and sun exposure to just the right variety of succulent that catches your eye. She has specimens that will thrive outdoors in our Mediterranean climate or indoors in everything from direct to indirect lighting. Expect to get succulent overload here. A heads-up: Nothing has a price tag here, so you will need to find the owner to work out the cost of specimens. Many of the plants are already potted so the price works out to the combined cost of both plant and pottery. But the deals we got were reasonable and fair for two succulents plus their unique pots. I went here for the first time with my son today and fell in love with the whole place! Everyone needs to go here. The service was amazing so nice and attentive. I bought several beautiful pots and a plant. The selection of pots and plants is never ending. They have some beautiful birds that greet you when you go in and wave goodbye when you leave. I love Four Seasons Succulent in San Leandro. They have such a great selection and the prices are super reasonable. All the plants look healthy and well cared for, and it is really easy to find something new to take home. The staff are nice and always willing to help or answer questions. The most succulents I have ever seen in one place. It is HUGE and all managed by a very sweet woman and her son. Aisles upon aisles of beautiful, unusual, and hard-to-find succulents. Many Aeoniums, and even more crested specimens (they're everywhere you look). Prices are very reasonable and she gave me a freebie ceramic pot at checkout! Out and about on New Year's Eve eve 2023 and remembered I needed a gift for our hostess' birthday for her New Year's eve birthday celebration the next day. Googled up "succulents near me" and found this amazing place. The second we pulled up we could see all the cool plants and once we got closer, it was obvious that the pottery was also really cute and the plant choices were clearly designed to match the personality of the pots. We wandered around and around and finally decided on a pot we thought reflected her style. However, it was planted with a succulent that wasn't speaking to me. When I told the owner that, she said "oh you hurt my heart!" And then smiled and told me she'd take it out and design something special with multiple plants. I left her to it and when she came out with the finished design, it was exactly what I hoped for. She was so sweet and so kind....it was just a great experience all around. You can create your own or even just buy the plants if you already have your own dirt and pots. Plus she told me about workshops she's done with groups that sounded super cool. I'm hoping for a succulent wreath workshop next year before the holidays! 1000% will go back. Great vibes!! read more

My husband showed me some pictures of this place online. It looked ok but I wasn't that impressed. He insisted I needed to go there because I love succulents so he took me. I am so glad he did this place is amazing. Don't be fooled by the size of the store. They have a nursery at the end of the strip mall that is amazing. Such beautiful plants. Also the owner Chen is amazing. She is so nice. She takes the time to show you around, tell you about the plants and how to take care of them and answers all the plant questions you may have. Her assistant her young son is a great helper too. The plants are a little expensive but the customer service and knowledge provided makes the price well worth it. I found quite a few plants to buy and will definitely be back for more plants and to chat with Chen about how to care for them and decorating ideas. read more

So many succulents here for your succulent needs! My boyfriend was driving down the street and so glad I noticed this shop in the corner of my eye and decided to check it out! The lady working there was super friendly and knowledgeable about the plants. The succulents had so many different colors and the pots were also super cute and so many unique varieties. I decided to get one called the Snow Angel for my mom and I picked out a little red pot with flowers since red is her lucky color. I cant wait to surprise her with it. I have no green thumb but it seems you can't really kill cacti right? Lol I love succulents and the different species. My moms new hobby is tending to her garden and growing it as big as possible. I made the drive over to check out the store. Omg succulent heaven! So many different kinds. The lady who runs it is so sweet and very knowledgeable. I learned a lot from her today and she made the experience so much better. I definitely will be coming back! I was on the hunt for pink witch since it's my mom's favorite and she had some available. Picked up a couple other potted succulents for her also. She gets cacti often so if there's something specific you're looking for just ask. I had way too much fun in her store. read more

Stumbled upon this little shop around 7 pm after having a bite to eat at Beijing bowl. They have succulents in colors I've never seen before and a wide variety that it can be overwhelming. The shops owner even has small trees that I think were succulents. You can choose from an array of succulents and have them potted in the store as well at an extra charge. I think the only thing here is that the prices and labeling are unclear so if you want to be sure about the price, ask the store owner first. She's very helpful and knows her stuff. Her shop has been open for 3.5 months and I hope that it does well! read more

I discovered this gem by chance today and stopped by with my kiddos. We were invited in like family and the (I'm assuming) owner was very warm and engaging. She was encouraging the kids to talk to the parrots and was showing them around the shop. My daughter was already planning what succulents she wanted for her birthday running around going oh and ah. The wonderful woman there said she should come back for her birthday so they can pick out the perfect succulent and pot- AND that they would pot it together. Both kiddos left with little pot decor pieces au gratis. It was just a lovely experience and we will definitely be purchasing all of our desert plant babies from here. read more
