I started the evening with a mighty serving of Koji Cured Beef. I'm not a beef person but I ate every bite. Pure deliciousness. Then I tried the spiced sweet potato bite with a masa base, diced sweet potatoes, cotija, and cilantro. Every bite was a mouthful of explosive flavor. Then it was immediately followed by the most delicious gold rice mixed with andouille sausage infused with some flavorful butter and infused with flavors I can't describe other than delicious. The star of the show were the perfectly cooked scallops. I don't know how I did it, but I forced myself to finish with a few spoonfuls of the mouthwatering lemon custard with homemade gluten-free shortbread cookies. Everything was to die for. I can't wait to see what creation chef Matt creates. I'm sure whatever it is it will be a masterpiece.

We tried several different soft shell crab options at the festival and the sandwich from Sea Eagle Market was the best! It was delicious- served on a soft bun with lettuce tomato and a special sauce. We got there early and ordered immediately before the line was a mile along (about 10 min later). The service was fast and efficent. We ordered at a table they had set up on the long side, and then we waited under a tent on the short end where they had a station set up with extra sauce and napkins and that's also where they had a pick up window. Very efficient! We sat on the curb and ate our yummy sandwiches- so good!!
