My only negative point is to avoid hot summer days (30+) as the air-conditioning was insufficient to keep out the heat and with a food warmer turning out extra heat, we nearly melted away last summer. Other than that, it's a great restaurant with a tube stop opposite!

Literally everything pointed towards this being a terrible choice but yet we tried based on recommendations from yelp and we were very very impressed. My girlfriend being picky with food AND coming from sichuan China was very sceptical but after having finished several dishes she agree with me that this was not only a really good Chinese authentic place, but the best she has tried in recent years here. I agree! Big portions, freshly cooked when you order, fast and a really varied and authentic menu. This was a experience for all senses and I wish more people showed their love because this place deserves the attention.

We went as a group and ordered a few things off the menu. I'm not much of an adventurous eater so I ordered some noodles and beef but my colleagues got some interesting things and dumplings. The dumplings were great! But I think that's what took our order so long to arrive so be warned. They only take cash!!!! So be prepared for that. It was alright. I don't feel the need to go back but it was alright.

When I say Chinese, I mean, really Chinese, not of the European-Chinese restaurants that you usually find. It's food you will only find in China normally, with all the curiosities (innards etc.) for the European taste. We ordered buffet (all-you-can-eat) with the Hot Pot. The Hot Pot is a bowl of hot water/soup-type liquid. Meet and vegetables are boiled in there by everyone arround the table. Fantastic taste and really fresh food! I recomment this place to people that enjoy original Chinese food. I do not recomment this restaurant for people who are new to Chinese eating culture, unless they are driven by curiosity.

One day, TikTok fed him a Chinese user talking about Tang Wang and he immediately bookmarked it for our trip to Cologne. The restaurant is directly adjacent to the Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) and it was super easy to find. We arrived just before noon and there wasn't much of crowd yet. We studied the menu and eventually settled on a lotus dish as starter, stir-fried water spinach and braised pork over pickled vegetables. We were really happy with the food and we were not just saying that because we'd been on a Chinese-food withdrawal for a while. We would definitely go back here in a heartbeat.
