So far so good. Staff were friendly at check in, and hotel is clean. Room is super clean and has some nice amenities, including a huge tv, mini fridge, microwave, and in the bathroom and mirror with a Bluetooth speaker inside. Me and my daughter were happy and surprised because we never seen a mirror like this one- so cool. They also have shampoo, conditioner and soap dispensers in the bathroom for guests- which is good cause I'm pretty sure I forgot to pack mine. I will update once we go to the pool which my daughter is dragging me to. They also have a whirlpool hot tub which I'm looking forward to to help my back and leg that is bothered by that long trip from NE Philly. Update: went to the pool and it was so much fun! Enjoyed the whirlpool hot tub felt amazing and was just what I needed. My daughter had fun swimming in the pool, a bit too cold for me though. They have heaters inside the pool area too. Definitely a great stay.

Signs of previous work. Can't tell if this is fresh water or sewage. I believe it's the latter, based on all of the brown liquid marks.

Four Points knowingly rented us a room leaking water through the bathroom ceiling and wall. Signs of previous repairs are apparent. Scrape marks from previous repair attempts and fresh coats of paint You can hear the water dripping and there is no way to tell if it is fresh water or sewage. I phoned the front desk for help and the woman tells me there is no maintenance person at the hotel. She also refused to give us another room. This person had absolutely no concern about our issue or the health concerns for my family and our two children. Making a buck takes priority over customer service. https://share.icloud.com/photos/01ehZ-P5hDuIoMmyUma7RLE2w https://share.icloud.com/photos/0feL_v6Jz9bnW23AZ2YC5v7SQ

After my first week I was talking to somebody else at the front desk explain to them when I was under the impression it was supposed to include free breakfast. Staff is accommodating whenever you need something. The best thing is that you don't have to sit around the room at night. There's a bar & grille (closes too early at 10PM) and both a large indoor pool area and an outdoor courtyard with low lighting that creates a great atmosphere for just hanging around. As for downsides, the breakfast buffet on weekends is limited with just OK food and it no longer comes with the room price. Some bathrooms have peeling wallpaper due to moisture and we've occasionally felt the rugs needed cleaning. Nonetheless, we've been coming here four times a year for 6-7 years now. It's a convenient location 10 minutes from downtown and right off the main road from Lancaster to Gettysburg. Great value. A must-stay.

I was in…read morethe process of relocating 570 miles away for a new job with just one week to pack up a two-bedroom house, two large dogs, and two cats. I chose this motel because it was one of the few that allowed pets and appeared to meet my needs. However, my experience was far from acceptable. Booking and Check-In: I reserved a room online and clearly mentioned that I had two large dogs and two cats. When I arrived at 2:30 AM after a long drive, I reiterated this information at the front desk. The staff confirmed everything was fine, took my payment, and handed over the key. So far, so good. Room Condition: Upon entering the room, I was horrified by the condition. It smelled strongly of cat urine and stale cigarette smoke. while I understood people with pets used smoking rooms the smell was overwhelming. The floor, door handles, and light switches were sticky to the touch. There were visible stains, possibly bodily fluids, splattered on the walls, light switches, and floor. The bedspread was riddled with cigarette burns, and to top it off, there were roaches. Lots of them. I had to spend the first three hours of my stay cleaning the room with supplies I bought myself because I couldn't sleep in such filth. I used the motel's towels for cleaning, which they later tried to charge me for, despite the unsanitary condition of the room being their responsibility. The sink didn't drain, the bathtub faucet dripped constantly, and only two of the six electrical outlets worked. The carpet near the door reeked of cat urine, so I even had to buy a carpet shampooer to try to make the room livable, since maintenance would only clean it on their schedule. Pet and Room Accommodations: I specifically requested a ground-floor room because one of my dogs has hip dysplasia and cannot manage stairs. They put me on the second floor instead, claiming they had an elevator. That elevator frequently malfunctioned, which was both frightening and unsafe. Additional Issues: The heating and air conditioning unit, as well as the windowsill, were covered in mildew. The ice bucket on the counter was stuck to some kind of sticky, unknown substance. The room's lights by the bed didn't work, and I chose to sleep in my own sleeping bag and use my own pillow because the bed was so dirty. Staff Treatment: To make matters worse, the staff tried to charge me an additional $40 for using their towels to clean their disgusting room. They claimed I had "destroyed" property by cleaning with their towels. They even went so far as to ask me to leave a week before my original reservation ended, claiming my use of the towels to clean what they didn't clean was unacceptable. Overall Impression: I stayed long term at a Motel 6 in Kentucky and this was, without a doubt, the worst lodging experience I have ever had. The room was not only dirty and in poor condition but also a health hazard due to the presence of roaches, mildew, and unsanitary surfaces. Several of the staff were unhelpful and unprofessional, and the property itself is in serious need of maintenance. If you are traveling with pets or need a clean and safe place to stay, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. Oh, and watch out for the hornets nests. They seem to be everywhere.

Unfortunately I didn't look at the reviews before booking which I should have. We arrived and the night staff at the front desk wasn't the nicest and seemed like he had better things to do. After we got checked in, we went up to the room and my wife took off her shoes and noticed the floor was sticky. She thought it had just been cleaned so naturally could have felt sticky but was really just a little wet. Nope. Hours later it was still sticky. After staying in the room for a bit, it was time to get ready for bed and we went to arrange the room so our son who is 1.5 years old could be in his pack and play and be blocked so he can't see us (so he falls asleep without distractions). We went to move the couch and when we did, there were crumbs from who knows when underneath. Not just little crumbs, I am talking pepperonis, full French fries, chunks of bread, etc. immediately we called down to the front desk and they offered to move us to another room so we did. At 9:30pm. This was after blatantly asking 'are you wanting a discount or new room?' Once in the new room, we moved the couch again and noticed it hadn't been cleaned. We know this because we found the remote that had been replaced already. Also more crumbs. This room wasn't that bad though so we stayed. In the morning, our son was running around and the corner piece that protects the wall corner fell off randomly and crashed to the floor, luckily missing him. We tried putting it back on but it was useless. One last thing we noticed is the water is scorching hot. Don't let your kids at any age control the water temperature of the bath/shower/sink because it is hot enough to make a grown man cry. We won't be staying in this hotel any time in the future.

It was in a very busy shopping area with losts of stores, gas stations and restaurants to choose. The breakfast had a good review, my opinion was that it was basic, cereals, muffins, waffles, eggs and meat, toast and bagels, sweet yogurt and coffee and juice. There was no alternative to dairy. Only fruit was orange and banana and sliced almonds. The attendants were very helpful. My main issues were that it was noisy at night for several hours, may have been someone setting AC ON constant from another room nearby. It sounded like a motor running for hours. And we could not get WIFI to work and notified front desk, who tried to help but not while we were there. Otherwise the room was dark with shades and the people in rooms nearby quiet. 4+

Pros: -I was able to get a room at quite literally the last minute (after 11:00 p.m.) -Rooms are clean and comfortable -Laundry room on site -Decent sized bathroom counter -Makeup wipes and makeup mirror provided -The TV doesn't appear to have a sleep timer on it and stayed on throughout the night, which was perfect because I need background noise in order to stay asleep. -The young man at the front desk when I checked out in the morning (for staff identification purposes, he was a tall thin black man with close cut hair) was incredibly polite and professional, especially first thing in the morning. It was very much a welcome contrast to the frustration of dealing with his clueless colleague the previous night. Cons: -Hallways and elevators are a little bit dated, and also quite warm -The laundry room only accepts coins. There is no credit card option and no machine available to convert bills into quarters. -When I asked the young lady at the front desk (for staff identification and retraining purposes, she was a young Asian woman) if she had was able to provide me with change for the dryer, she flippantly replied, "Nope. Sorry. We had quarters last week though." That information doesn't help me with my current challenge. However, what would have been more helpful is something along the lines of, "Unfortunately, we don't have any quarters on site, but let me look up the closest gas station or convenience store that's still open at this time. I'll get you the address and directions if you need them." I'm sure there were also cash registers on site, considering there is a bar in the hotel, but she didn't bother checking there either. Instead, I had to venture out after midnight in an unfamiliar city to find a convenience store and track down some quarters. -For whatever reason, the room key I was given would not open the laundry facility, so the front desk associate also had to manually unlock the door every time I needed access. At one point, I returned to the front desk so she could let me in to retrieve my clothes from the dryer. When I arrived, she appeared to be engaged in a leisurely phone conversation at nearly 2:00 a.m. I understand that overnight shifts can be slow, but customer service should still take priority. What frustrated me most was that she made no effort to acknowledge my presence or indicate that she would be with me shortly. Instead, I stood there awkwardly for several minutes waiting for her to finish the conversation so she could unlock the door. After the difficult day I had, all I wanted to do was grab my laundry and go to bed, but apparently me needing to claim my garments was interrupting her phone conversation. It is painfully evident that retraining is in order. To make matters worse, after multiple trips back and forth to the laundry room, the front desk associate finally offered to provide me with a doorstop... was collecting my clothes from the dryer and ultimately no longer needed it. It would have been a very helpful suggestion during my first or second trip to the laundry room, when the door stop could have actually solved the problem. For a hotel that caters to business travelers, I am dismayed at the lack of common-sense problem solving on the part of this particular staff member. It made an already inconvenient situation even more frustrating than it needed to be. -There were also issues with the laundry room itself. The posted signage states that both the washer and dryer cycles are 30 minutes. The washer cycle is 30 minutes, but the dryer cycle is actually 60 minutes. This signage needs to be updated so guests can plan accordingly. Additionally, if the hotel insists on using antiquated coin-operated laundry machines, the least they can do is provide a bill-change machine. No one is walking around with $7 worth of quarters, especially business travelers. Better yet, add a credit card payment option to the machines. -Additionally, there should be at least a small selection of laundry detergent available for purchase. At minimum, regular Tide and Tide Free & Gentle (for the sensitive-skin girlies like myself), since that brand is rather popular. -Weak water pressure in the shower -The shower does not have a handheld wand. -This hotel is situated across the street from some kind of warehouse and I could hear all kinds of beeping, truck traffic and other miscellaneous work-related sounds quite clearly from the room. All night long. Even in the middle of the night. Not at all conducive to a peaceful and quiet night's rest. I'll sum it up by saying that this hotel was the least-bad option available to me at the time, but given a choice I would absolutely not stay here again.
