Terry has a Laundry (and Drop-off) Service... so I dropped at the Laundromat that she subs some space from and she dropped off the cleaned clothes at my hotel front desk later that same day. Convenient and much cheaper than a hotel charges. She charges by the pound... most hotels charge by the piece and doing it her way is probably one-third to one-quarter the cost. Terry was done for the day by the time I called her (she services both Beacon and Wappingers Falls) but said she could be in as early as 6:30 or 7 the next morning to meet me and get my dirty laundry. I think (but I'm not sure) that if I had called her and just asked her to pick up the dirty clothes at the hotel she would have... and it would have been as easy as any hotel service but much cheaper. It didn't really matter all that much because the hotel (The Roundhouse) was only 50 yards away. (And her card says "drop-off", not "pick-up" so I'm not sure what the deal is but she's very nice so call her ask her!)

I say safest because many of the other spots I've toured around have some pretty suspicious looking folks hovering around. They always have machines open and they just got all new dryers installed. The only tricky part about this place is there is not much parking. There are about 4 spots up front and limited parking in back. There's usually at least one spot open. Machines are pay by quarters, which I prefer since cards are not accepted universally.

She proceeded to tell me that they have a no pet policy and that I would have to leave the laundromat. I informed her that my dog was not a pet but a service animal. She said it didn't matter if it was a service animal I would still have to wait outside while my clothes dried. I asked her to call the owner, she refused. I asked her to call the police so that they could explain the service animal law, she refused. I went outside to call the Town of Newburgh police and waited outside for the to arrive. While waiting a customer pointed out a sign that was posted, "No Pets unless it is a service dog with paperwork in hand." My clothes had dried and the attendant stated that I could not fold the there and that I would have to leave and fold them somewhere else. I took my clothes outside and waited until the officer arrived, approx. 9:00 p.m. stating the owner Angela Kinan has officially trespassed me from the laundromat . At approx. 9:21 P.M. the Supervisor arrived to try and explain to the attendant that what she was doing violated the law, however she was unwilling to comply with the ADA laws of New York and Supervisor gave me the blotter number .

I had done laundry at other locations in New Windsor and while other places were decent, this place is insanely clean and well maintained. It's just SO out of place being in Newburgh. I've always had laundry facilities at home until recently so I'm not entirely sure if what I paid to clean my panties...I mean underwear (don't judge me; LOL) was expensive. But for what I paid I feel like my clothes came out really clean and the dryers dried as I expected despite the quarter only giving me 6-7 minutes. I really didn't pay attention to how much time each quarter gave me I just put enough for an hour dry time. If others in this area thinks this place might be expensive I hope the owner keeps it that way because this facility is worth the price of admission. They have a drop-off service, if you're too busy. The washing machines still take quarters, but credit cards are accepted. There are new dryers, four of them can handle 50 pounds of Laundry. There's a large table for folding the finished Laundry. I forgot to mention they have free Wi-Fi. There are a few eateries on the same side as the Laundromat, under the marquis, if you get hungry.

I went there yesterday late afternoon to have my oil change. I came into the shop and reiterated my order to her that I was going to have the gulf oil change for $69 plus add the tire rotation service. In my mind I was saving money therefor I could spend money on the tire rotation. When all was said and done no one came out to me and told me of anything different or they had changed anything. When I went to pay, my bill was much higher than expected. She explained they arbitrarily had to upgrade the oil change to a higher level and cost. I ask why no one came out inform me cause I would have said do not perform the tire rotation service. She said she was sorry and that she already told you I was sorry. The latter service of tire rotation should have not been charged. I authorize 2 services at a cost as seen on your boards. Instead someone without consult to me arbitrarily change the service to a higher cost service. This impacted the total budget cost which I was not prepare for . The young lady at the front desk told me she had no choice. When I went outside to speak with whom u thought was the manager I explained what happen. He opened my hood and said I could have gotten any of the lower oil cost options. He said he was sorry and would talk to her inside. That's it? I should have not been charged for rotation service. I use to trust this facility now I'm wondering what has happen here. Is this a directive of management or just your front line people don't have a clue if what they are doing? I'm sending these remarks to your cooperate office.
