The gentlemen that works the MRI machine understands the importance and needs of the patients as it's very stressful to be 45 minutes without moving inside a cylinder. I'd gone to another facility that provided MRI and wasn't able to do it. For many, doing an MRI can be stressful and challenging. I found this place, made the appointment and I recommend this place 100%. I needed 3 MRI and for a chubby person that had surgery and gets anxious of being in a small cylinder that you can't even touch your nose will inside as there is no space, this place is where you need to go. As you enter the girls talk to you and answer any questions you may have. The guy that does the MRI has patience and works with you as how the machine works, make sure you are comfortable and relax. He puts the glasses and talks to you through the process letting you know what the machine is doing and the time frame. For me that was epic as not many care to help you in a way to make you feel less anxious. Thank you so much for making this experience better. My appointment was at 10am, so this morning crew, thank you so much. Only those that need to do or have done an MRI will understand this review.

Your physical health, your mental health, and the most fun, your sexual health. Its that time of the year again and I need to do my annual testing. Normally, I would go to Planned Parenthood to get it done but it can get expensive, especially when the cost of getting tested for just 2 STD's is equivalent to lets say, a car payment, 2-4 cellphone bills, or your entire monthly budget of pocket spending. Then I remembered those insanely blunt ads on bus benches and billboards on US1 and SR84. They said things like, "Feel The Burn?" and looked eerily similar to Bernie Sanders' campaign logo. Maybe you saw the billboard that said, "We Catch 'Em All!" in the Pokemon font. You've seen them. Some are even more blunt and simply say, FreeSTDCheck.org. I logged on to their website and saw that they were open late that day and its all free. So I went. So first things first, you don't have to make an appointment to go. You just show up. 1. When you get there, you sign up for a Healthvana account on their PC at the front desk OR the touch screen PC in the back. 2. Go to the front desk, have your I.D. ready and give it to whomever is there. They will give you a card with a number on it. They will not call you by name, but by that number so do not lose it. 3. Listen for your number and meet with a PA/Nurse. -Now this is where you have to be honest and please don't shy away from the seemingly invasive questions they will ask, like, "How many people have you had sex with in the last year, when was the last time you were tested? Are you anal receptive? Do you partake in giving/receiving oral sex? Do you do drugs in which needs are used? Have you previously had/currently have any STD's? Are you gay, straight, have any of your partners been trans?" and a lot more. I say answer these questions honestly because how you answer depends on what kind of testing you will do. This is your health, and your current/future partners health, so not telling the truth would be a disservice and defeat the purpose of your visit. -After these questions are asked, they will take blood from you, just a finger prick, (I promise!) and do an HIV rapid test. This takes a few minutes, and you can watch as the vile tests for HIV antibodies. If you test negative for HIV antibodies, the vile will show ONE line, if your test positive for HIV antibodies, the vile will show TWO lines and your blood will be sent out for testing to confirm officially. Now go sit in the hallway :-) 4. You will be called in to the see the phlebotomist. So here is where the questions in #3 above come into play. They will automatically take a vile of blood. They will take a mouth swab. They will give you a urine cup, and then if you are anal receptive, they will give you a swab so you can swab your anus for testing. Go to the bathroom, put your urine cup in the door next to the sink, put your swab in the door too, and you're done! 5. The Healthvana account you signed up for earlier is where you will log in to receive your results. You will get the first round of results within 3 days and the final results within 2 weeks. You will receive text messages as your results become available. So just log in whenever you get a text. 6. ALL TESTING IS FREE. HIV/AIDS, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, and Syphilis, FREE! 7. There is NO reason why you shouldn't be getting tested on a regular basis when the services are FREE. There are 4 locations with different business hours between Miami-Dade and Broward county. The only thing at an expense to you is your time. 8. You will be in and out in 2 hours. 9. Full panel STD tests can cost hundreds of dollars so you're saving so much money by getting tested here. Keep in mind they also take donations. 10. Before you leave please pick up a handful of condoms by the door from which they call your name. Those are free too. BE SAFE
