The guest were all seated watching as 1 guy made several trips to bring the florals and pedestals, which were wrapped in plastic wrap. Our pastor and guest starting helping to unwrap the 4 pedestals and set the florals out as the guy kept telling us he wasn't the one to set up. A girl finally showed up around 1:00 to arrange the florals and pedestals, she walked up and down the aisle arranging the ground florals as the guest watched. This was the most unprofessional and embarrassing experience one could ask for. Guest at the reception were commenting that they started videoing the process because it was comical. The day of the wedding the wait staff was so professional and made sure all the special diet meals were passed out. The bartenders were absolutely fabulous. Despite that we decided to take a look at them... made an app of online to come view on a weekend in one of their scheduled time slots, had a confirmation email, and made our hour and 15 min drive to this remote location only to have NO ONE show up. And to top it off their phone number on the front of the resort on their sign isn't even their number.... Finally got a hold of someone through a different number from the confirmation email and they tried to say we never had an approval even though I'm looking at a confirmation email... no apologies, no "hey I'm sorry we can have someone there in 30 min", just straight up blame and attitude on the phone and no compassion for us having spent 2.5 hrs of our day driving to see NOTHING! We won't be back!!! On the bright side... at least this happened before we spent a single dollar with them and not three weeks out from wedding time like so many frustrations and reviews you see on wedding sights.... and now we're doing destination anyway!!!
