The croissant was flaky and tasted fresh. The cookie was a bit too salty for my liking, but wasn't bad. They have gluten-free and keto options too. The man serving us was nice. Worth a visit if you find yourself in Carleton Place, or of course if you live there ;) Street parking only. Of note: Google maps took us to the wrong location and actually to a parking lot nearby for other businesses. Unfortunately, my eggs were a bit better done than I like them, but the meal was still edible, while we were eating and our friends were waiting for their food, the waitress admitted that they were short staffed by 2 people (you could really tell!) Later on, we heard they had run out of eggs. Although it is an interesting place, with an eclectic menu, and it's not next door for us, I would not be in a hurry to go back. I have the privilege of knowing Anastasia personally, and I can say without hesitation that her baked goods are the best I've ever had... She is also an insanely talented cake decorator and pulls out all the stops to make sure her customers are happy.
