They do a great job. More individual attention from qualified, experienced personnel than other PT places I've visited.

Nothing but great things to say about the team here and the work they do. Friendly front office,…read moreeasy checkin process, and plenty of parking. Lots of great people, all working to help you get back you. No judging -- just helpful, incremental progress to help instill a self-help mindset to accomplish your goals. The team here really goes above and beyond and always has each other's backs. I've been to other PT spots but this feels like a combined team effort, and with much brighter and sports-oriented facility. That said, it's a complete mix of demographics and ages of patients. So regardless of whether you're an 18 year old trying to get back in the game, or an 80 year old that just needs to regain their balance, this is a great place for you.

Between the two of them, I was able to regain full use of my arm & shoulder. Before I began PT, I was barely able to drive, shower, do household chores, cook, or sleep without extreme pain. I am now able to do all of the above with ease and full range of motion. Erin and Nick are professional, pleasant to be around, and really know what they're doing. They are truly dedicated to helping people. My first day there, Erin developed an effective home exercise plan for me, which I will continue doing now that formal PT has ended. I would highly recommend BMSR to anyone who is in need of PT. In general, the facility is large, clean, cheerfully decorated and filled with state-of-the-art equipment. Their music selection is upbeat and inspires you to get moving. I had no issues with billing, scheduling etc. Staff at the desk were extremely helpful and nice. Five stars out of five!

Good Shepherd Penn Partners Bryn Mawr office is the smallest PT location locally and seems to be…read morefor people needing more specialized, hard-to-find types of outpatient PT treatment. My review is based on my own experience and word of mouth from organizations to which I belong. It is an extremely busy office. The front desk staff are great. The credit card readers don't always work for your co-pay. The property management seems no-show at this multi-floor medical building. Their singular elevator is sometimes out of service. The floor is grimy and sticky at times under PT patients' feet. The power goes out in the building with storms. The patients are mostly quiet, polite, older patients who are struggling to find specialized PT options locally due to a lack of PT Specialists. The PTs are the busiest of any practice and seem overscheduled, naturally. Some of the PTs are great. Some are not. Professionalism and sensitivity with patients seem optional for PTs at most locations who have been with Good Shepherd a long time. Job burnout? The problem is Good Sheperd Penn Partners (including Bryn Mawr office) does not regularly email patients patient satisfaction feedback forms the way PennMedicine does in providing patients a collective voice in their care. Good Sheperd should email several patient feedback forms to patients during the PT treatment period and after so that unhelpful patterns can be adjusted. As it currently stands patients collectively have less of a voice in their care at Good Shepherd Penn Partners Physical Therapy.

Fast forward 4wks of 2day/wk with no no-show. Holiday comes and I mix up the days. My mistake. Policy says can't miss 2. I call. SAME DAY. Well guess what, the 2nd eval appt was counted as a no-show even though I already had everything eval'ed and wasn't told I still needed to attend. So they DISCHARGED M IN THE SAME HOUR OF THE APPOINTMENT. They then let me schedule an appointment, then called me 20 min before to say, "WE CAN'T SEE WITH A NEW PRESCRIPTION" Even though the missed appointment was THE DAY BEFORE!

Dr. Stephen Stache is arrogant, aggressive and argumentative man. My mom asked him 3 times to look at her hip and he dismissed her saying "Don't bother I have the X-Ray right here it is Gluteal Tendinitis." He gave her a pill for pain and recommended physical therapy 3 times a week for 4 weeks and should go away in a year. It was SARCOMA CANCER GROWING ON HER HIP!! If he just looked at her leg and sent us to the right doctors maybe she would still be here. My beautiful mother passed January 8, 2026 at 9:56pm. She was so beautiful, successful, smart and had many talents I'm so heartbroken. Please stay away from this doctor he doesn't know what he's doing please get a second opinion. My mother would complain about hip pain and I would just say Dr. Stache said it's Gluteal Tendinitis and should go away in a year. It was SARCOMA CANCER GROWING AND IT SPREAD TO HER LUNG! PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR! I lost my best best friend because of a misdiagnosis!

I don't go to anyone but her as I have never had any PT know what she knows. The only bad thing at this location is the loud noise factor. When people do not have clients they talk very loud and laugh loud so that the rest of us trying to work with our therapist cannot be relaxed, it's very disconcerting. It is certainly no way to run a professional business. BE QUIET! That is the reason for four stars. Tara rates five stars.

You are reading the review from the official Idiot of the Year award winner, according to FDC…read more Yes, me. Back a couple of months ago I set out to wash my windows. No problem, they tilt in so I don't have to go outside, etc. I'm almost done and I notice that there's a tiny gap at the top of one of the windows where it didn't quite make it all the way up. Hmmm....what to do. Oh, I know. Get on a kitchen chair and just push it up the rest of the way. Note that my kitchen chairs are on wheels, and they rock backwards so you can kick back. As I was rolling the chair up to the wall, I remember thinking this perhaps wasn't a good idea. Then, nah, it will only be a second, I'll be fine. You can guess what happened next: The chair started to roll, and so I grabbed the window sill to stop it, then the chair tilted backwards and I'm on the floor, with one sore shoulder. FDC took me to Urgent Care where they declared it a sprain, two weeks later Ortho announces it's a broken bone, and six weeks after that I'm sent to PT for 'stretching'. So off I go to Excel Physical Therapy. They're in the old Bell Telephone Building in between the old Viking Inn and St. Colman's Catholic church on Lancaster Ave. There's a lot accessible from Lancaster and also from Church Road. They're on the second floor, the facility is clean, bright and open. I'm evaluated by Andrew Bacon, who becomes my regular PT. Andrew was the consummate clinician: professional, friendly, careful and thorough. He gave me increasingly challenging activities to do during sessions and at home, and six weeks later I'm nearly pain free. I hope I never have to go back, because PT is not fun, however I'm so glad to have worked with Andrew to get myself back to who I was.
