It is now February 18, 2026, and despite repeatedly submitting updated forms due to his school transfer, the paperwork was never completed in a timely manner. Each time I called, I was told it would be taken care of, yet no action was ever followed through. The most disturbing part of this experience was a recent interaction with the receptionist who identified herself as Samantha. She believed she had placed me on hold, but she had not. I clearly heard her say to her coworkers, "his mom is on the phone asking to speak to an office manager," followed by laughter -- including from Samantha herself. She actively participated in laughing about my concern. When I made it known that I could hear them, I was immediately placed on hold and then transferred to someone else. That level of unprofessionalism and disrespect is unacceptable in any setting, especially a medical office serving children. To make matters worse, during this process I was asked questions about my son's allergies -- despite the fact that he previously had allergy testing performed at this very office. Those results and medical details should already be documented in his chart. The fact that this information was not readily available raises serious concerns about record-keeping and overall attentiveness to patient care. I have been bringing my son to this practice for 15 years, since he was one month old. While the doctor himself provides good care, the environment and the conduct of the assisting staff have steadily declined. The lack of professionalism, empathy, organization, and accountability within the front office is alarming. No parent should have to repeatedly chase down basic paperwork that directly affects their child's education. Unfortunately, due to these repeated issues and the ongoing decline in patient service, I will be seeking a different medical office for my son. It is truly unfortunate because the physician is good, but the surrounding staff and overall office environment make it impossible to continue. Situations like this will inevitably cause the practice to lose long-term patients, as no family should have to endure this level of disrespect and inefficiency. Now I am calling the office since yesterday at 3:30 (the office closes at 5:30) and they have unplugged the phone so that calls cannot go through. This morning I called again because this is serious documentation that is needed for NURSING SCHOOL. Making an appointment was easy. I only had to wait a couple minutes after checking in to be seen. The office is very upscale and lovely. But most importantly, Dr. Lamarre seems like an amazing doctor. Both times she was caring and took her time with me. She seemed extremely knowledgable too. Best doctor that I've seen in a long time. I mentioned briefly during my appointment that I didnt have a dentist because my insurance changed. The next day she emailed me with a list of dentists that she personally knows and likes nearby. I cant believe she remembered that. Those personal touches are so appreciated. So far, I am SO impressed by her and her staff. You do have to register and pay with One Medical Group to see Dr. Lamarre, which originally annoyed me (I have to pay extra?!), but honestly it's been worth it. Their app is very useful and it's easy and fast to get in contact with them, no wait times, easy prescription refills, etc etc. So the little extra to join was worth it. Highly recommended.

My experience with Dr. Lamarre has been a pleasant one. She does the usual vitals and health questions and asked about my family history. She had me do blood work, which is done on the premises which is very convenient. After the meeting, she emails me as soon as the results come in from the lab and invites me to discuss the results. We discuss what my options were and recommended specialist I can see. She send me the referrals by email and any prescriptions I need are electronically sent it to either my pharmacy or express scripts (if I ask for mail delivery). Since I have diabetes, she's follow up and if I feel I need to see her anytime, she's readily available. I love the personalized approach I get from her.

If i could leave zero stars i would…read more This practice has gone completely downhill since Dr. George Liakeas stepped away from running the day-to-day operations. Really recommend to not come here. The first issue is communication. It is nearly impossible to reach a live person. Most calls end up at a recording directing patients to the website, and the only reliable way I've found to get someone on the phone is sometimes through the billing office. For example i just tried to call twice because they mixed up my medication. It's 10:45am EST... full business working hours... and their answering machine said they will get back to me within 1 business day. The second issue is continuity of care. The office now seems to function as a revolving door of students and trainees. While I fully support medical education, it becomes frustrating when a different person handles every appointment and you have to repeat your entire medical history from scratch. Even more concerning, my patient information often appears to be incomplete or inaccurate despite multiple prior visits - again just this week completely mixed up dosages of medications I've been on for years, should clearly be on my sheet? On more than one occasion, I have received recommendations that seemed far more extreme than warranted for the issue being discussed. Follow-up is frequently promised but rarely happens. Never once getting a follow up call on outcome of test results. The biggest problem has been prescription management. I have been on the same medication for years and needed a routine refill. The prescription was not sent, which is something that has happened now multiple times. When I finally reached someone by phone, they proceeded to ask me (the patient) which medication and dosage I take because my chart apparently did not contain that information. Thankfully i obviously know what i take - but that should be confirmed and monitored by the doctor - after all that they sent in the wrong dosage to the pharmacy and doubled my daily medication. The lack of communication, poor recordkeeping, missed prescription requests, and inconsistent follow-up have made this practice difficult to trust with ongoing medical care.

We've seen a few different doctors (sometimes we aren't able to see his PCP) and everyone is very knowledge, cordial and kind. The nurses are all great and attempt to calm my son down who get a a bit nervous as he's only 2.5 (he started seeing his doctor at 18 months when we moved to NYC). At times during afternoon visits when they're busier the wait time can be a little long but that's fine. We are patient and things work out.
