NO dentist was able to 'see' this and thereby fix before Dr Yallourakis. Always had pain since the tooth was cracked due to a temp cap which came off and was bit down on. The dentists (at least 5 in 2 different states, multiple imaging), endodontic (several visits and diagnostic views and types taken) could never identify the problem. Dr Yallourakis easily saw the issue. Now also, I will mention the caring of the staff in his office in getting me in very quickly and professionalism and personable staff throughout the process. Treatment had to wait/plan/fit in but still was only a few weeks. After this number of years, what's a few more weeks? Extensive procedure was done (tooth removal & bone grafting/rebuilding/placement of implant base). Pain was very minimal (few days of 'discomfort' at most) and I was feeling better quite fast! He was able to do some extra work to remove potential issues which was notable and appreciated. He was cautious on putting in the implant base, follow ups and verified stability was no question before he said the implant was ready for a crown. My dentist landed the crown and there was no pain, just 'getting used to implant'/having something in the 'missing place'. I would highly recommend Dr. Yallourakis and his staff. Dr. Yallourakis is very knowledgeable, straightforward and interesting person and very professional Doctor. Yes, there is a long wait in the office to see him but I will always go back with no qualms should I ever need his expertise again. Cannot say how relieved I am to get rid of a multi year problem which no other Dentist could identify for YEARS! Glad I was referred to Dr Yallourakis.

We made an appointment with Dr QI to help correct the dental problems from the previous dental office. She was very professional, did excellent work as well as being very personable and informative. We finished the procedure today and the finished product is excellent. She replaced an poorly fitting upper plate with another that fit perfectly. She also replaced the lower partial that was not seated properly. It was high in the middle and when a bite was taken the front would go down and the wires would scrape the adjoining teeth in the front, when biting in the back to chew the back would go down scraping the attaching teeth destroying the enamel. Dr Qi sent us out for oral surgeon to install implants. All is well now. The previous dental office was not interested in accepting any responsibility. My wife had an appointment on Sept 24 so I call and asked if I could see someone on that date. They said someone would get back with me, no call. I went with my wife to her appointment and asked to reschedule my appointment that they had cancelled for Sept 11. I was told they could see me in FEBUARY. They had previously tried to do an implant for me last year but told me there was not enough bone. My dentist told me to get second opinion. I went to Kingsport and now have two good implants. I didn't want to go back to Kingsport because of the distance but this place has left me no choice.

This went on for a long time because my insurance would only cover a denture every 5 years and I didn't have a few thousands of dollars for a new appliance. He never fixed the worn down and rotten teeth and the teeth continued to get bad, exposing nerves causing severe pain. He wanted to deep clean all my teeth and I cancelled the appt knowing this would not solve the issue. I received a bill in the mail saying I didn't show for the appt and I canceled in advance. I left a negative review because I had so many issues with this dentist. He sent me a personal nasty message on Facebook and I was no welcomed there which is perfectly fine but completely unprofessional and seemed immature. It took me months to find a dentist who took my insurance. I did try to reluctantly get in with the new owners of the office and they apologized but Bateman made it where they couldn't even get me in their computer. Very sad.. Bateman is not empathetic in his line of work and despite the fact it's been years since I've been to his office, he left a negative impression that's lasted several years and will continue much longer.

The office may seem outdated or "Fred Flintstone" as one mentioned in another review, however the services are not! I would rather pay less (fair price) for EXCELLENT services than more to pay for the dentist's bells and whistles and shoddy services any day! Try the services before judging the book cover.
