Most start at 4 months old, just in time for me to return to work! I was thrilled to find Music Together and realize that they offer classes for babies as young as newborns. I brought my babe to a free demo class and signed up on the spot. The class is very structured and caregivers are actively involved. Stacey, the instructor, guides you through each song and activity. She has a beautiful voice and is really wonderful with each child in the class - making each feel special and appreciated. She acknowledges that all babies have pressing needs and welcomes everyone to feed and change the babies as needed. Early on, my baby would sleep through large swaths of the class. Stacey explained that despite being asleep, she was still taking in all of the music and knowledge. She's especially great at explaining developmentally how the class is helping each child grow and learn. The songs are fun and I find myself singing them at home without even realizing. My baby lights up when she hears the familiar tunes. This class has been great for providing structure to my maternity leave life, giving me a reason to leave the house, a community of other caregivers to spend time with, and most importantly - my little one loves it!

They have good homework and exams to help students. Their teaching is systematic, you can learn Chinese here up to high school level and up. I am surprised my son can read and even write Chinese characters. The SHSAT preparatory classes are also very helpful. The teachers are professional and experienced. They pay attention to individual student's progress. They are patient and kind too. My son took SHSAT prep for spring semester, summer, and then fall. He has made fast progress. Mr Charlie is an outstanding teacher, he graduated from Hunter college high school, and he is very knowledgable.
