I was scared to drive it back to Florida Before getting it checked out. So I was googling call shops in the upper Kanawha Valley area and came across Bob's garage. I also asked for recommendations on Facebook. My cousin recommended me taking it to Bob's garage. So I gave them a call, Tammy the front desk receptionist was super friendly and told me to go ahead and bring it in. I brought my car there and they thoroughly checked it out top to bottom front end. They found out that it was a flex pipe issue. They fixed it and also repaired my tire which had a nail in it. I have been to many many businesses and this auto shop is by far the most friendly and efficient auto shop that I have been to. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND taking your vehicle here! They really treat you like family and not a stranger. That makes a big difference. You can do the best work but if you don't have great customer service, it doesn't matter. The group of people who work here are the very best. They are honest, affordable, and will not try to rip you off. If there were more than 5 stars I would give them more.

Up till then very happy. Took my Toyota in for collision repair. All of a sudden over 3 months to "maybe" repair. but not now. Too busy. Mostly blamed overloaded with hail damaged cars. Then stated that the hail damages weren't as much a problem because of paintless dent removal. Wanted to redo estimate - said the 1st one was "sloppy" - meaning too low I guess. Basically refused to accept my business. Really wanted them to fix my Toyota because I liked the job on my truck. And no i didn't shoot my mouth or otherwise - just disappointed. I don't understand what happened, maybe because I pay out of pocket. Just lost a good well paying customer... never again.

I was traveling through Fayetteville on my way from Florida to Pittsburgh. Unfortunately, my brakes failed and I crashed into another vehicle. Fortunately the truck was still drivable but obviously needed the brakes repaired. The truck had to be towed. Before I even got to the shop, they had called River Expeditions (Amazing White water rafting place across the street) and had arranged for me to go up there and kill the day because I had my puppy with me. Josh (amazing and knowledgeable owner) and his amazing tech custom made new brake lines to replace the rusted ones, that basically exploded. Mind you, I had over $1000 in brake work done in Florida to make sure my vehicle was "safe" for the 1400 mile trek. These folks treated me like family and it was very refreshing. Josh's mother was running the office due to an illness with the usual office woman. She was amazing too! She takes a lot of "notes" to make sure nothing is forgotten. I have never had a car repair experience like this. I am being 100 when I say that. I can never thanks these folks enough. They had me safely back on the road in about 4 hours. They really look out for "travelers". Sooo friendly and proud of their business. I love it! So refreshing to know there are still amazing people in this world. I so wish there was a tire operation like this where I live…read more I was 300 miles away from home with a drywall screw driven squarely through the shallowest part of a rare-sized low-profile run-flat. First stop was the mega mega national chain we all hate for a million good reasons (look, I was desperate) -- after 15 minutes of trying to get someone's attention, they looked at the outer edge tire wear for half a second and proclaimed it was their policy not to work on such tires (this particular car wears hard on the outer edge due to camber setup, so the tread there was definitely well-worn; but look, I just needed to get the fam + car home though due to having to be at work that day). Me: Great -- sell me a new tire. Them: Oh, we don't have that size. Me: Right. Know anyone who might be able to help me out? (In my mind, I was screaming, "Do you know anyone who will just exert a little bit of effort and fix my #@%@! tire?") Them: Well, there's C Adam Toney Tires up off something or other just past something or other right next to the Dollar General. Me: Did you say Tony Adams Seas? Them: No, C Adam Toney -- just use your phone to ... Me: Ah, got it. I get to C Adam Toney, I wait maybe two minutes, I give them my info, leave my key, head out for a short hike (hey, it's the New River Gorge National Park), call them back for an update: "It's ready, bud." Music to my ears. Sixteen bucks and I'm back on the road and can deal with sourcing a new tire another day. The important part of all this: I told the tech at C Adam Toney if they couldn't do a plug, I would be ready to pay for a new tire. At no point in time, and I mean not even for a millisecond, did they try and jump to upselling me on a new tire. They just plugged the tire and I was on my way and I thought, "This is the way life is supposed to be." A hundred thousand thanks to a group of folks committed to just doing a good job, because they are a virtual endangered species these days. If you guys were anywhere near me, I'd jettison the dealer (and TireRack) and be a lifelong customer.
