If you find yourself in need of a tow truck, Eddie and One-Way Towing should be your first choice…read more If I could pick three words about my experience with Eddie....he's trustworthy, thoughtful and dependable. I had a car accident in October (avoiding a deer hit, I wound up in the guardrail) in the mountains of West Virginia and was towed to the closest dealership in Roanoke, VA. Not only was I scared and in shock, I was stranded in WVA until he showed up within an hour (remember, I was literally in the middle of nowhere) and we took a 3 hour trip Roanoke to Land Rover in Roanoke, VA. He made me feel safe plus the whole situation was a seamless experience. Eddie was very knowledgeable, fair, ethical and clear about expectations for the trip and what I might expect on a Sunday, particularly because the car was not road drivable. Did I mention, he's also a very likable guy! It's obvious that he has insight and experience dealing with people in stressful situations. His voice was calming, empathetic and patient, which, after a car accident and was exactly what I needed to hear. Don't waste your time looking for another tow company: I recommend this company without reservation. If I haven't convinced you yet, Eddie was so concerned about my safety that after dropping off the car, he made sure I found a clean hotel for the night and brought my luggage into the hotel for me, explained to the front desk about our odyssey, and only left after he was sure I had a room. After such a long, emotional day, he was my guardian angel. We need more Eddie's in the world today.

John the owner is so down to earth and his multi tasking skills are out of this world. Between doing mechanic work, towing and running his business he does not skip a beat. All the other mechanics there are super nice and helpful and is there to answer literally any question you need, especially about your big rig. We originally were going to go to another shop and boy I'm happy we ended up here because you just don't get customer service, genuine good mechanic work anymore. I truly wish they were in Florida but as far as major work needing to be done in the future we will definitely grab a load out that way to be able to get back to this shop. I promise you this shop hands down is the best mechanic work we've gotten since having our big rig. They are fast, efficient and if you need other things done to your vehicle outside of what you initially went in for they make time to get your car/truck in tip top running shape. It's honestly amazing how we got such prestige work done by accident. I'm telling you, if your every in the West Virginia area or within the radius and need maintenance work or a engine/transmission job I promise you you will not be disappointed. We are over 900 miles away and we've found our new mechanic for our big rig. I promise you that These guys are super legit and you will not regret going to them. An hour or less after my husband called and booked him, he showed up with his truck and fully equipped/stocked trailer. I told him what the issues with my RV were. He came inside and took off his shoes, which I immediately was impressed by. It ended up that the heater wasn't working because of a bad regulator. He had one and was able to install it right away. Another issue required a hose and he had to drive to the hardware store. Although he was there for about two hours, he was pretty quick and efficient.
