This is my second time in physical therapy (for different reasons) and I came back to Optimum because of my incredibly positive experience the last time (2 years ago). I'm shocked I didn't write a review back then! Im here to get treatment on my back after having a baby. Being pregnant took a toll on my body and an MRI revealed 2 herniated discs. So far all my sessions begin with a few minutes on a stim machine, with a hot compress. After that, my therapist will do manual work/massge therapy on my back (my favorite part!) and at the end she will guide me through exercises. I really love that they don't just give me a piece of paper, direct me toward a machine, & let me do the exercise on my own (lots of PT practices do exactly that) but rather my PT is right there with me, guiding me through the exercises and making sure my form and position are correct. They also have a really need portal you can log into where your therapist sends you an exercise program for you to do at home. That portal offers a shirt description.of each exercise, including a 'how to' video and there's even a space for you to send notes to your therapist. When you complete an exercise you get "points". It's super motivating for me and gameifying homework is always a plus. Outside of that the office is always clean & presentable. The staff is very friendly (entire staff from reception to interns to PTs) and professional. I've seen a few of the PTs here and they're all amazing. This is a really special place and I actually looking forward to my sessions! Kinda weird to write such a detailed review of a PT office but I love them that much and I'm slowly feeling and getting better and better so I had to give them props and show some love. If you need a physical therapist, I would highly recommend this place.

The person at the desk seemed very kind while answering my questions and gave me the information I needed. I made my appointment for after the winter break since I would have the kids home. When I came for my first appointment in January 2022, Dr. Chris (who is the same person I initially met) listened to my ailments and explained clearly the process we would do to get rid of my back pain. I've been coming for 3 months now and do feel a lot better. I'm doing minor exercises to strengthen my back. I love the TENS, a massage, and some vibrating machine he uses to finish relaxing the back muscles! Dr. Chris is very professional, he listens, and does not talk condensendingly as some doctors do. He is flexible with the schedule. He's available in Brooklyn on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays after 10:30. The facility is kept clean. It is small but even when he has a couple clients at the same time, everyone is kept in their own "room". I would recommend Dr. Chris and Phoenix Physical Therapy Rehab.

Teddy, the owner and head PT, said I would improve and I wouldn't need any cortisone injections. He was right. Millennium has given me my life back. I do heat and electric stimulation followed my massage, stretching, and exercises. I also do the exercises at home between sessions. Millennium is a nice place. It's well run, clean, and friendly. It sent numerous messages asking for forms to be filled out and all personal and insurance info. When i got there there was a remote portal to check into. It turned out i had No Appointment even though they had all the info I had sent. Someone was to call me BUT no one did. The real kicker was that after all that i was informed that despite their website saying they treated Pelvic Floor. they DON'T. There were not a lot of reviews although they were all 5 stars. I've had about 4 sessions for what may be an injury that may be result of my football playing days. I was a little apprehensive to come here although right from the start Erica at the front desk and Hussein the physical therapist were extremely customer friendly and professional. Although it's early, I'm confident Hussein will help me get past this injury. I can tell by his interactions with my self and other customers that he is well liked by all. Hussain shows genuine care and his process and home exercises seem to be working. It's a small space although that allows the experience to be more personal. It's clean, everyone is wearing a mask and they take precautions for the COVID-19 pandemic seriously. There are a few machines for exercising other items such as stretch bands exercise balls, etc. I've observed they are sanitizing between patients, they have sanitizer at the ready and the office is well lit. Currently hours are limited to Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday's. I would highly recommend Hussein and Northway Physical Therapy for any physical therapy needs. Hopefully I will not have to make therapy a habit although if I have to come here I'm confident the experience will be a great one.

She sprained her ankle and was in great pain and was afraid she would lose strength in her foot and that her dance would suffer. The physical therapists were very kind to her and often discussed not only her injuries but her over all wellbeing. She often expressed to me that she didn't realize how much pain she had actually been experiencing until she was no longer feeling it. I am very thankful that we have them as a resource in the area. They made sure that when my daughter returned to her normal activities she was actually stronger than before her injury.
