I took some amazing pictures of the sun setting, and for Dutch people the skies are everything. We love our skies and our cheese. I lose track, let's get back to the review of the food, because the service was super. I don't think I have had people check in on us as often as they did -- a definite plus, even with a private bridal party going on upstairs, who were enjoying an even better view than us considering their height. It was more than enough for me. Just being able to have the time to sit, chill, talk with my partner, and look at a menu where I actually was tempted by more than one dish, were pure joy. I remember I tried pork belly, for the first time in my life because fat has, up to now, kind of grossed me out. Not anymore! It was tender, melt-in-your-mouth quality, and absolutely delicious. The pork belly had that special touch of a good chef who can combine flavors well. Great flavors in there! I also tried the fresh lavender lemonade and can recommend that as well.
