After various quotes we decided to go with Kena Woodworking because the design was amazing and the price was the best with everything they were doing. The team arrived by 7:30am every morning, which was great considering we are off one of the busiest traffic areas on the parkway. Every team member from the painter, electrician and Antoni himself worked above and beyond. We hired Kena for a Kitchen Reno, and they honestly transformed the entire first floor of the home. We are so pleased and still shocked at the fact that this is our home now. I can't recommend this team enough.

Rhobin helped put together an event for me and my family about 3 years ago. My son had passed and…read morewe did a Celebration of Life in the park. Rhobin handled everything. They did the flowers, towel and blanket seating, decorating trees, a booklet for the attendees, and connecting with all of the friends, family, and colleagues that needed to be invited. His color palette was remarkable and affordable and the ability to make all of these decisions in a timely fashion was great! He went above and beyond putting the event on and getting those who wanted to be involved engaged and moving forward. I can't thank Rhobin enough for making my celebration of life go smoothly and beautifully. He has provided us with memories that will remain with us always.

I believe that a re-decorating/renovating partnership is successful when you meet a person with…read moresimilar values, exhibits certain styles that appeal to you, and most of all, you get along with. Having said that, I began my search for a decorator to refresh my living room to accommodate the new spouse as well as our adopted four-legged brood and I am so happy I came upon Rhobin. A few of my concerns were: 1. Budget. We were looking for a "bigger" living room versus being able to just move out into a larger apartment 2. We don't live in Manhattan. We aren't far away but nonetheless, not being in Manhattan scares away vendors. 3. Too small of a project for anyone to bother with. I came across Rhobin's site and saw that he actually did a project in Hoboken so I got to work on drafting a very detailed email. Worst comes to worst, he can ignore me like some of the firms I reached out to or he could respond and politely let me down. But he did not. He responded and thanked me for my detail in describing our situation and detailing what we were looking for. We met with Rhobin and Chi to go over the presentation, agreed that we wanted to take on this project with his firm and that was it from there. Having never done a decorating project before, I think I learned a lot working with Rhobin. First off, you don't have to micro-manage. He has it under control. I think that the areas which gave me anxiety such the electrician, the painting, installation, etc., he took care of and I really didn't have to worry at all. This is an evolving process and ultimately you have to remember why you hired him. You trust him. You trust his professional experience, you trust his taste, you trust his vision. When I see the reactions of guests that come by to our place, it makes us realize that our apartment (living room) looks completely different. The statement pieces, the accessories, wall shelves - they all take a part in creating a bigger living space for us. This was phase I. I am hoping our bedroom next year will be phase II!!!

Working with Jack was one of the best decisions we made for our home, but more importantly, for our…read morefamily. From the very beginning, she had a vision that we couldn't see, but trusted enough to follow. We were hesitant about committing to a treehouse bed--it felt like a big, slightly risky choice--but Jack gently pushed us to go for it. That decision completely transformed the room. What was once just a bedroom is now a magical, imaginative world where our daughters play, dream, and truly live. It's the heart of their childhood right now, and we have Jack to thank for that. They play for hours there and enter into a world of their own. She has an incredible eye for statement pieces. The wallpaper she helped us choose is a perfect example--this stunning blush pink with ornate, gold peacock detailing that somehow feels both whimsical and sophisticated. It's a true "moment." People comment on it the second they walk into our apartment, and Jack knew from the start that it would define the space. She was absolutely right. She also has a gift for solving design challenges in a way that feels both practical and beautiful. Our daughters' room had no closets, and we were working with a bulky IKEA wardrobe that felt purely functional. Jack reimagined it completely--adding blush-toned doors to match the wallpaper and new hardware--so that it now looks like a custom, built-in piece that could have cost thousands. It's seamless, elevated, and incredibly smart. Every choice she made felt intentional. The rug she selected pulled the entire room together in a way I had struggled to do despite looking at endless inspiration images. It's not only beautiful but also a space our daughters love to play on every day. What really sets Jack apart is her commitment to getting things just right. We had chosen a chandelier we liked, and most designers would have left it there--but Jack kept searching until she found something we truly loved. The final piece she selected is now one of my favorite lighting fixtures in our entire apartment. This room is more than just well-designed--it's joyful, imaginative, and deeply personal. Jack didn't just decorate a space; she transformed how our daughters experience their home, and for that, I'm forever grateful. Jack really cares--about her clients, about their spaces, and good enough isn't good enough. She cares about your space in the way that you do, and that is truly rare.
