He did see a BMW sedan that he liked from another dealership but they gave him the runaround when it came down to go through the financing aspect. So we continued looking around and came upon a BMW that was for sale here that was the same year and make so we decide to make the long drive from the city to Palatine, IL. We had a 3/23/24 2 p.m. reservation. We walk in and are greeted by Yuriy. At first personally I didn't really care for him because he seemed like he was a fast talker. Upon looking at the vehicle, I noticed that there were noticeable scratch marks on the vehicle that you couldn't see on the pictures they had. I could tell hubby was a bit disappointed because he could see himself in that car. Yuriy kept the process going and wanted to show us some other luxury vehicles they had in stock. Hubby saw a 2012 Mercedes that caught his eye so Yuriy quickly went to get it. When he let us look at it, it was beautiful. Silver grey, one owner who took very good care of the car and not a scratch on the car. No accidents. We test drove it and it was super smooth. Yuriy seemed genuinely happy that we saw something we liked. He gave us the CarFax information. Hubby gave me that look to say "I want this car". We went through the process of paperwork and the explanation of extended warranty. We were there for awhile. I think hubby thought he was going to leave there with no car but Yuriy changed that and saved the day! He really took time with us and never rushed us out. I would highly recommend Car City. We had a good experience and they pride themselves on having trusted mechanics on site to inspect the cars before they go out on the lot to be sold. Thanks Car City - Hubby still is loving his car and no repairs since! A+!

Considering my car is 10 years old and that I've been putting off some of the services for a while, I decided that it was time to get those done; however I didn't like the price that I was getting from this place or the other Mazda service centers I called. I figured I'd give a local shop a try and I'm extremely glad I did! From the very first call I was already feeling good about these guys. Lee picked up the phone pretty quickly; I asked if I could email the list of services to them and get their quotes, and he said no problem and gave me their email. He also answered a few other questions I had and kept everything effortless and professional. After I emailed them I got a quick reply from Brian who also answered my questions and provided the quotes, which were much more reasonable! It was very easy to make an appointment for my car, and even when I had to reschedule there was no trouble doing so. I dropped my car off in the morning and met both Lee and Brian who were both very friendly and personable. Their waiting room is comfortable with a TV, a fridge with water, and even some toys to keep kids occupied while you wait. Since I was leaving my car for the day I brought my Onewheel electric skateboard, which Lee saw, and he showed me his e-bike and we talked a bit about PEVs (personal electric vehicles) before I rode my Onewheel back home. My car was ready for pickup by the end of the day as they said it would be, and it's been running great ever since! I also recently got an oil change there and it was probably the fastest one I've experienced from giving them the keys to getting them back (no more than 45 minutes, compared to the dealership service center where I've waited ~90 minutes on average). Everything has been uncomplicated with no surprises so far! Aside from the quick and straightforward work that they do, I also appreciate that they have a rewards program that helps you save money on future services. They are also regular sponsors of local events and are a big part of the community. It feels much better bringing my car to a local shop that supports and gives back to the community rather than going to a dealership that doesn't really do that. I'll definitely be returning here again!

Contacted the dealership and they wanted $50, so I decided to see if an independent shop near me would do it for less. I called Jose's since it's about 5 min from me and they said it wouldn't cost much since it was an easy job so I stopped by. When I walked in, I was greeted by the cutest, sweetest dog and Jose got to work installing the bracket. We had a good conversation - very personable and kind - which I appreciated, and before I knew it, he was done! After we got done talking, I went to pay and he told me not to worry about it. I could not believe he did that and I am so thankful. There aren't many good and kind hearted people left and I truly believe Jose is one of them. Reading other reviews it appears others have had the same experience! I will definitely be bringing my vehicle in for non warranty related work in the future. Thank you so much!
