No not enough I said ok how about 400$ they said yes later said they wanted paid 500$ first half and 100$ second half , so I'm paying almost double what she quoted. I knew it was a bad idea but I had it in writing and they promised they would come back ! for that price I just wanted it finished and they were already there so I agreed ! , well they lied !! I was trying to be nice because the house was dirty I just moved in , they only cleaned half the house they said they would get everything in each room and didn't , I cleaned the rest up . they said they would come back and do the other half, when I try to make plans to get the 2nd half , they say they won't come back unless for150$ ..I know for a fact I could have gotten a better deal , scam , never going back unless they fix the situation.

She will be able to start in a couple of weeks and expects it to take one to two days, all of which is fine with me. I will post another review once the work has been completed, along with photos, but I just wanted to share that she was very personable and has a lot of skills other than just painting. She offered to fix a few small items around my house that she noticed when she was here, and would not accept any money for doing that. I'll update this review once this job is finished.

I've known Corey since we were kids. Certainly, I'm biased in his favor, but the reason I keep…read morereturning to him for photography is because he's fantastic. He has an eye for people and settings and the finished work really has a sense of life to it. Just go to his website and you can see he's good. My most recent photography session was extremely important to me: I needed a photo for my book jacket. My book is steampunk, so the clothing and the mood is important. Corey and I talked it over--what I needed, what kind of setting, what I would wear. We did the photos in China Alley in Hanford. The results--wow. It was hard to choose one photograph to send along to my publisher. My past sessions with Corey have also involved my young son, who is autistic. It can be hard for my little guy to focus or smile on command. Corey was very patient and gentle. He even gave my son a job to distract him for a little while, carrying some stuff around, so that my husband and I could get our pictures together.

I was lucky enough to win a photo shoot with Corey Ralston Photography in 2009. It was Fall, so it…read morewas perfect timing for a family portrait with me, my husband and my little dog. Corey was very accessible and it was easy discussing what we wanted--something festive and outdoors for our first-ever Christmas postcard. On the day of the shoot, we met Corey at a beautiful country estate location that he had told us about. We all had such a lovely afternoon with him as he helped us find fun, yet comfortable & natural poses. He even had a blanket prepared, so we could take some shots lying on the grass, while not getting dirty. Corey has a great personality, and it's very easy to open up to him and joke around allowing him to capture your real laughs and smiles--not the overly stiff or phony facial expressions that you see all too commonly at your generic big box McPhoto studio. Now, I don't think it's easy working with animals, but Corey didn't show any signs of frustration, worry or fear when working with our dog. In fact, he captured some really adorable expressions from that grumpy little guy! Now that's a miracle! When we got the photos back, we were so thrilled to see that there were so many good ones to choose from for our postcard! Ultimately, we found one photo that we loved more than the others (it was a hard decision--they were all fantastic!) and used it for our holiday post card. We got a lot of great responses from our family and friends from that post card--one relative even told us that they almost threw it away because it looked like a professional advertisement. Slick! I'm so glad I got to have a photo shoot with Corey, and I HIGHLY recommend him!

I would not recommend based on my experience…read more I initially reached out for a move-in cleaning and provided square footage, bedroom and bathroom details, as well as photos of the entire home. Based on that information, I was quoted a price range of $400-$650, which seemed reasonable, and I paid a $100 deposit to secure the appointment. After the deposit was paid, I was informed the updated cost would be $1,600--more than double the high end of the original estimate. I was told this was due to the number of windows and glass, as well as adding fridge and oven cleaning. While I understand that adding appliances can increase cost, photos of the entire home--including the windows--were already provided prior to the initial quote, which should have allowed for a more accurate estimate upfront. There was no walkthrough or new information provided after the deposit that would reasonably explain such a drastic increase. A price adjustment is one thing, but more than doubling the quoted range after a deposit has been collected is not a minor revision--it's a completely different price point. From my perspective, this created a bait-and-switch situation, where the lower estimate was used to secure the booking and deposit, followed by a substantial increase once payment had already been made. When I declined to move forward and requested my deposit back, I was told it would not be refunded because it had already been used for supplies. However, no service was ever performed, and those materials remain with the business and can be used for future clients. This situation is not about small changes to scope of work--it's about a SIGNIFICANT price increase after payment was collected. If a job has the potential to cost $1,600, that should be clearly communicated upfront before requesting a deposit. Overall, this experience felt misleading and lacked transparency. I strongly encourage others to get a firm, detailed quote in writing before paying any deposit.

So imagine my surprise to encounter the absolute NICEST lady with a great personality and engaging character, who is also an incredible CPA! Francie was actually discovered by my mother, but when mom suffered two devastating strokes a bit over a year ago, it was I who had to try to put all the pieces together and keep the ship afloat. This, of course, included all things financial and tax-related. I had no idea what was needed or how things worked at my parent's house. So it was a miracle that their tax person was this angel of a lady. Honestly, she not only went out of her way to help me gather up needed documents, and walk me through everything that needed to be done, along with a timeline and reminders throughout the year, but she also referred me to other amazingly competent individuals, which was extremely helpful since I don't live here and am not familiar with which business are good.
