My representative Christian was extremely helpful in helping me choose my firearm and had lots of patience with me as I asked questions and tried different set ups out. After some back and forth, I ended up making my decision and even purchased a new can after some valuable insight. Shooters prices and selection is top tier as far as any brick and mortar shops are concerned. They have budget friendly up to enthusiast level selections as far as pricing goes. They sell a wide variety of products ranging from firearms, knives, and gun safes, to coolers, polarized shades, and other outdoor supplies. PS. This place has the cleanest bathroom I have ever been in outside of my own home. If you have never been to Shooters, it's at the very least worth a stop by to browse, just remember to pack a little patience, and enjoy.

I was able to learn how to put in the clip. Drop the clip. Open the chamber. How to properly hold the 43X. And correct shooting stance. I know that carrying is a serious deal. I want to be as comfortable and confident with this as possible. Thanks for providing me with clear information and hands on experience.

They do a good job in making sure everyone is following safety procedures while at the gun range. To use a lane at the range is about $20 and you can bring your own ammo or purchase it at the store. I also went to the beginner's gun course that this store offers for $99. It was a good introduction to handguns and goes over the basics on how to fire a gun. They also offer concealed carry classes as well as others.

What I like about it: 1- The range officer is always present and never leaves anyone on the shooting line alone. Safety is the highest priority and it shows. I've had to ask for help before and have never been made to feel less than or dumb for not being comfortable doing something (in this case it was clearing an ammunition double feed). The range has up to date technology and is clean and well maintained. 2- The staff in the retail area are very knowledgable. They won't tell you what to buy but if you describe the characteristics of what you're looking for, they can help you narrow down some options. They encourage you to hold and handle as many as you'd like and I e never felt rushed. 3- There's a pretty large selections of firearms available for rent. The ability to try a firearm out really helps when making a costly investment. You can also rent the safety equipment and purchase range ammunition and targets. 4- The price for both daily range use and/or membership is reasonable. They have a nice discount for military members. If you go for a membership you can bring two guests for free per year. My personal wish list: 1- One-on-one training/classes with instructors for those who would like to work on skills beyond the basic firearm safety/concealed carry class that is offered. Other topics (like marksmanship, home defense, etc) would be great too. 2- Would love to see a female behind the retail desk and/or on the range. (Sorry if they have one and I just haven't spotted her yet!) The gentlemen are great, but sometimes a lady just wants another female perspective when talking about firearms as they pertain to women. 3- That's pretty much it. I'll update the list as new come to me.

We all learned something new after taking the class. Jon is incredibly patient with novices and very passionate and knowledgeable about teaching gun safety, marksmanship and explaining all the various options when it comes to purchasing a personal weapon and ammo. Since then, I've spent immeasurable amounts of time handling, discussing, training and shooting firearms of all kinds. I have a very diverse background, I served our country honorably in the United States Army, and have worked in Customer Relations, Law Enforcement/Security, Construction Management, Marine and Aviation industries. However, firearms have always been my Passion. One day, while purchasing a firearm, I overhear a family trying to purchase their first firearm. The husband & wife asking the clerk questions, their pre-teen daughter bouncing around excitedly with the prospect of the newest family acquisition. The clerk was being patient with each new question but was becoming exhausted. I had Compassion for both parties. I realized then; people might need a Compassionate Gunner to help educate and guide them through the journey of firearm ownership.
