I don't like that there's so many self check out. Army Air Force exchange service better known as AAFES is part of the federal government, it's not a for profit store like they're off post competitors. there should be more than self check out open in peak times of the day. I don't understand why the store doesn't open till like 10 o'clock now. everybody on post is not in the Service . it's like you're punishing everybody. I get that's part of the garrison commander but that's ridiculous. They could just not allow military personnel in uniform during certain times. to not enter the to the store. not opening till 10. You're punishing retirees, dependent and civilian personnel seems mismanaged. kind of like around post lots of money has been thrown at things. then they don't use it they close it down later on. like that because that was that's what this reminds me of read more

It's been FOREVER since I've been to the PX. OK, maybe it hasn't been forever, but it's been quite a few years since my last visit. For some reason, I was under the impression that things were cheaper than Walmart or Target. But, in fact, it's not at all, Frankly, it seemed MUCH more costly, just no tax. The complex was pretty darned small for being on a large base. But I guess with Walmart right outside the main gate there's no real need for something huge. Nothing in comparison with the Navy Exchange in Honolulu, but quaint. They did have a Taco Bell, Starbucks, a t-shirt shop, glasses store, and a couple kiosks in addition the the main store. Tons of seating in the mall area to eat your fast food and drink the cup of piping hot joe. Basically, a run-of-the-mill small mall with NO taxes. read more

Haven't been to an installation for quite awhile and we seemed to have gottten into a bit of trouble. We did not have our mask on. We didn't know either that it was a manadatory issue until the store manager came out and explained it to us. We were allowed to make our purchase and then leave. read more

The facilities at Ft. Sill are adequate. Definatly in close proximity of each other. The food court is a nightmare from 11:30 to 1:00 p.m., and it's almost impossible to get a lunch in those hours. The barber shops ticket system is non-existent, so it's first come first serve there. The PX has the standard fare found in any military exchange and the service is average. The Commissary is nothing special, the meat being the only decent priced item. The two Wal-Marts in town suit me just fine thank you. Overall the services are adequate, but nothing stands out on my mind to cheer about. read more

We love the Ft Sill Exchange. It allows us to spend money without giving our tax dollars to the local City Council that funds pet projects that line their pockets. Between them and our Chamber of Commerce, it is little wonder that we have no new companies bringing better paying jobs to this community. So, we love shopping at Fort Sill. It is what it is. It's a training post full of new trainees. If you're expecting to walk into a quiet shopping mall, this ain't for you. Trainees bull rush this place given the opportunity and stay for hours on end. That's the way it's gonna be. Other than that, it's a run of the mill PX. read more

The PX is a nice asset to every military installation, but I usually do not frequent them. They do offer shopping to military member, tax free which is a plus. On this particular base, there is one thing that kind of frustrated me when I was shopping. The main shopping center has no toys at all. If I wanted to buy gifts for Christmas, I would have to shop in 2 different places in order to get everything. The prices are pretty good overall, but some of them are just outrageous. Pretty standard stuff here for a military Exchange. There is a Commissary, PX, mini-PX, clothing sales, and a barber shop all pretty close together and a few miscellaneous food places in the food court outside the main PX. Nothing great here but nothing is terrible. read more

Meh...it's your PX. However, it is one of the px's that has been recently updated/remodeled. One thing I like about the px is that it offers different brands and items than you will see at Walmart, KMart, Ross, etc, HOWEVER generally it is overpriced. For example, I was looking at a chi hairdryer for almost two hundred bucks at the px - I scanned the barcode and could get it online for $120. But, if I really wanted that hairdryer RIGHT then, the PX was the only place I could purchase it in the local Sill/Lawton area. Same with the different department store cosmetic items they carry like Bath & Body Works, Victoria Secret, Estee Lauder, etc...yes, it is cheaper in those stores, but I wanted some Victoria's Secret lotion right then, and that's the only place I could buy it w/o going out of town. Good offering of items, but if you are a bargain shopper (like me!), then shop w/ caution! Even w/ no tax, most things are far more pricey. read more

Restaurants are pretty good selection. PX not to bad pretty good selections. Good gun selection and very helpful
