Right off the bat, I was greeted with a warm welcome. In some ways I felt like I was shopping at a smaller shop you'd find in the Bronx...mainly just the vibe from the employees, who I thought were great & yes, some of the clothes too. So, let's get down to the real stuff...the clothes! They have women's (juniors to plus size), men's, children's clothing, lingerie, shoes, jewelry and accessories! The prices are stupid cheap!! I bought a cute maxi dress there for $13! Of course, it's not top quality material or anything, but it will do for everyday running around stuff. They have a lot of trendy stuff in the store, so if you're looking for something that's fashionable for now and don't want to spend a lot of money, this may be a great place to take a look, and then you can always go next door to the ROSS too. LOL

At this store, I went to the beauty aisle and tried to get assistance, but the employee ignored me and helped someone else first. When I got to the register, she finally assisted me but did so with a noticeably unfriendly attitude. I don't expect exceptional customer service, but a simple smile or basic acknowledgment goes a long way. I remained polite, but the experience left a negative impression.

They have oodles of clearance racks, so that's a huge plus. The selection of vegetarian food is pretty good. I wish it was larger, of course, but I'm in Oklahoma after all. I probably shouldn't complain too much. At least they have one. The pet aisle is pretty good and definitely beats the Walmart closer to my house. I was able to find my normal pet food that I usually buy from Chewy. This location was pretty clean as well, and the employees I interacted with were friendly and helpful. I really like the amount of self checkout. I hate standing in line for 1 or 2 items, and they thankfully have several self checkout registers that actually work.

I don't understand why the store doesn't open till like 10 o'clock now. everybody on post is not in the Service . it's like you're punishing everybody. I get that's part of the garrison commander but that's ridiculous. They could just not allow military personnel in uniform during certain times. to not enter the to the store. not opening till 10. For some reason, I was under the impression that things were cheaper than Walmart or Target. But, in fact, it's not at all, Frankly, it seemed MUCH more costly, just no tax. The complex was pretty darned small for being on a large base. But I guess with Walmart right outside the main gate there's no real need for something huge. Nothing in comparison with the Navy Exchange in Honolulu, but quaint. They did have a Taco Bell, Starbucks, a t-shirt shop, glasses store, and a couple kiosks in addition the the main store. Tons of seating in the mall area to eat your fast food and drink the cup of piping hot joe. Basically, a run-of-the-mill small mall with NO taxes.

Not only did they have a lot of cute, stylish clothing pieces but my experience seriously makes me wanna come back to this location in Lawton versus others that are closer to home in SC. They assisted me in picking out right styles and sizes for me and they were honest about what fit my body type so make sure I am walking out of that store looking my best. They were so helpful, I wish I got their names. They also engaged with their customers! A short small conversation as simple as where are you from takes you a long way in customer service. Thank you for making my first shopping experience at Versona-Lawton a good one. If I am in town again, im coming here where I know I won't walk out looking like a hot mess.
