Ridiculous!!!! They wanted $110 for Eh Taylor which is a $50 bottle. I went a mile down the road and grabbed 1 for $54 tax and all.

I've been here 3 or 4 times now. I usually stop in while visiting Fort Worth for work. Usually…read morehave a cigar and 2 glasses of bourbon and sit outside. I've sat inside once and had a great conversation with another guy who is an engineer and from out of town. It gets pretty busy during Sunday night football. People wear their jerseys. Waitstaff is super nice and attentive. They are also wizards at lighting cigars. Rose is probably my favorite there. Cigars are reasonably priced with something for everyone. The checkout experience is quick and seamless. They have someone in the humidor with you answering questions. I was shocked at how deep one of the waitstaff was on the brands. I'm not sure what you call a cigar expert. There has to be a slick french name out there for it. Bourbon menu is a nice size. Drink prices are very reasonable. They don't serve any food yet. Can't wait to go back next month.

Service by Molly was nice and humidor is kept the chatsin excellent condition. One light and I smoked for an hour straight. The area has plenty to see, a huge plus, but I'm from New York so I want comfy chairs and all the extras ;)

Yelp Elite Event…read more... I tell you, Kendall, once again, you put together such a wonderful evening. It is always wonderful to see our Elite Family. I love West Jax! The environment is relaxing and classy, and it was the perfect place for a night out. Customer Service: Always top-notch! Brittney, our server, was always present and was able to help me choose the perfect drink that matched what I desired. I wanted a Whiskey Sour, and because they did not have that on the menu, she suggested the Smoked Rosemary Blackberry Bourbon Sour. She was spot on; it was delicious, and it was my first time to have a smoked drink. It was different, and every drop was enjoyed. Our entertainment for the evening was Clover the Violinist. She is FULL of talent and kept our tunes going the whole night; she perfectly mastered all genres. I was happy to find out, she plays at that location occasionally. I'd love to support her, when able. She played a bit of SZA, Justin Beiber, Chris Brown, Chris Stapleton, etc. What a great night of entertainment! The Food: Crave Cookies - Thank you, Crave. I appreciate you adding to our beautiful night with your cookies. Perrotti's Pizza: Thank you, Perrotti's. I appreciate you treating us to pizza! What a great night!!

We each got smoked old fashioned's and both were really good, very strong, and with good flavor. I'd definitely come back again later in the evening to see what the vibe is like later at night, as I've heard that they have a DJ during late night. I also like that there's a parking lot in the back.

Walked in around 6ish on a Sunday night. I wish I recalled the name of the bartender that night but…read morehe was very kind and I could tell he prioritized a good experience for each guest that was there. I noticed him making sure each drink he put out was of good quality while still maintaining polite conversation with each guest. I was visiting just for the weekend so wanted to taste the best of Fort Worth before Ieft and I sure did here. I got the El Diablo and it was the perfect aperitif for me- light, bright, and gave me just the right amount of buzz. The library interior really transports you away from what's outside. I would have liked to experience the speakeasy that night but unfortunately it wasn't open on Sunday so just make sure you check in advance if you want to do that.

The premise of the event was super engaging. We got to mingle with suspects, search for clues, and try to figure out "whodunnit" while exploring the venue. One of the best parts about Thompson's is the venue itself. The experience spans across all four distinct floors (from the main speakeasy level up to the cigar lounge), and each floor has its own unique vibe and personality that made hunting for clues even more entertaining. As for the drinks, the whiskey sour was top-notch. It hit the spot while we were busy playing detective. The bar was kept fairly clean throughout the night. The employees were super friendly, and kept the drinks flowing smoothly despite the event crowd. We were able to grab some street parking nearby, but if you can't find a spot right out front, there are plenty of paid parking lots in the immediate area. I highly recommend keeping an eye out for their special events!

Nice humidor at the front doors and after I made my selection, cut it and then lit her up, I headed to the bar. A very nice well stocked bar. I like rum so Zacapa 23 it was. The stick was one I'd never had before called Sobremesa from Dunbar Tobacco Trust. Nice and mellow. Just what I wanted. Bartender Kim was pleasant and if you go in, ask to see her art work. She does collages out of cigar bands. Very cool. As for food, small menu limited to charcuterie boards and the like. Very nice place and as for pricing, reasonable. Dress is casual. Drop in. You won't be disappointed.

We didn't get to meet the owner tonight, but the older gentleman behind the counter was nice and talkative. We chatted for about an hour about cigars, retiring out of country, and many other things. Very friendly. The place is large, seems small when walking in, but they have meetings rooms towards the back that can house plenty more. There are plenty of leather chairs and sofas, tv's a plenty to watch sports, tho I didn't hear any that have volume turned up to any audible levels. The cigars they offer are more local and off brand types. I didn't see any of the mainstream brands like Monte Cristo, Romeo y Juliet, etc. The bar is a full bar and prices are normal bar prices. It's worth coming in for a visit and a comfortable sit while enjoying a whiskey and cigar.
