It was very easy to locate once we got passed the main gate. There was plenty of parking for small and large vehicles. The main exchange is very affordable and large with plenty of shopping options. Be advised that customers can only access the main exchange, if they have a valid military identification card. I enjoyed my visit to this base exchange. I was a little bit jaded because I've always worked on Air Force installations. Hear the rumors about army installations not being as nice but that doesn't seem to be the case here. It's hard to explain in civilian terms, but this base reminds me of camp humphries in South Korea. I've also been to fort Hood Texas but I don't recall any similarities. That being said, the base exchange is really big with lots of small shops and stores for convenience. The price is inside the BX are in line with other exchanges, but the selection was bigger than Peterson or AFA. There are also better choices food. I give it a thumbs up as far as base exchanges go. read more

This is the on post, army version of Walmart. Oddly, they do an even better job than Walmart at being Walmart. The store is immaculate and well maintained. The displays and shelving makes perfect sense as does the overall layout. The prices are extremely competitive and the employees are more laid back and friendlier. I wish I lived closer as I'd shop here all the time as opposed to other stores like Target etc. I really enjoyed shopping in this store. read more

Very nice main exchange was clean fully stocked lots of deals. Of all the exchanges I have been to in Colorado it's the best so far.

This is actually really a great exchange. I been to a whole bunch of them throughout my career and this one is right up there with some of the better ones. Love the PX at Fort Carson. They had a great sale on winter coats e we hen we were visiting. The store looked smaller than other PX's we voted. Staff was inattentive, but that is the norm at most PX/BX's. Sales Associate's hardly ever acknowledge customers unless you approach them. read more

Pretty good. A lot bigger than all of the exchanges in Hawaii. They have a big pet section which i like and lots of store employees.

Great prices! Also carry makeup by Becca, which I paid (37.40) for foundation at the main X, normally at ulta it's prices at ($44+ tax) and sephora it's ($46+tax) No taxes, and the prices are always matched! Great deals, and great amount of items. read more

This is really a great PX...one of the best I've been to. Just like the king of C. Springs, Miles J., stated, it has a ton of stores and a decent sized food court. One of the best things is the free wifi throughout the Main Exchange. read more

This PX was remodeled years ago and is pretty awesome. It has a standard foot court and some other shops in the courtyard. Like GNC and Starbucks. But the Px itself is huge and has a lot of things you can buy. From snacks to women's make up. The deals are pretty good but there is also expensive things there as well. So check ads and go into the store to see if you are getting s good deal or not. If you find something on clearance than it is usually the best deal around. read more

They price match but it's suck a hassle to do it. I waited over a hour to get a printer price matched and packaged up. The guy checking me out was new and no one wanted to help him. One person have him inaccurate information. It was so time consuming and almost not worth it read more

Great as far as PX's go! After upgrades it reopened in DEC 2011 and now it boasts a Starbuck's, Subway, Things Remembered, Flower Shop, Burger King, Charley's Steak, Anthony Pizza and a Taco Johns along the outer corridors and foot court. The best thing about the PX is the electronics section. They have great prices on TV, video games, headphones, iPads, etc. For toiletry items, I prefer Wal-Mart...not sure if it's cheaper, but I just like getting my soap and deodorant etc from good ole Wally World. The main attraction of the PX is the STARR Card! Who doesn't LOVE CREDIT!!!? It's pretty empty after duty hours (1800-close) and not too busy on the weekends either. The PX is a great staple of military life, but I think its losing its grip on younger Soldiers who have the option of going on the local economy to shop. The one stop shopping experience of Wal-Mart is just hard to beat despite the tax-free appeal of the PX! read more

Lots of hot looking Army wives roaming around dressed up as if they are going to the club. I think the starbucks cafe is the only starbucks on the planet that doesn't offer free wifi. read more

The customer service desk is the worst I have ever experienced in my life. The women who work there clearly express it in their actions towards the customers on how much they hate their job. If you're not a single attractive male then you will be treated like shit by those ladies. The management is terrible, far too bad to even begin to go in on them. Great place to shop just the customer service of some employees needs to be retrained. I do recommend shopping there because the store has awesome sales all the time but be prepared for the really bad customer service from the employees. read more

Fort Carson has a solid Post Exchange with surprisingly competitive prices. We purchased a flat screen curved television for $200 less than Walmart, Best Buy, and Amazon. The PX has great deals on outdoor furniture too. Recommend stopping by to see what is on sale. read more

Came here while visiting family on base. If I lived on base I would definitely frequent this place. They had everything, and I mean everything. As it is though, I went to the Subway and the Starbucks. It was pretty dead when were here the first time, but when I came back on a Saturday it was slammed. Lots of families and younger soldiers. read more

Average px compared to 6 that I've been to. Not a bad garden area. Always can find a clearance area in clothing. Most of the staff is friendly but I've ran into a few grumpy employees. Food court is pretty much the same as most places, subway, burger king, Anthony's pizza, Charlie's, taco John's, and Starbucks. read more

This is a nice PX. You can almost always find something on clearance. The selection is a little small on some items but overall it isn't bad. Customer service is okay. There are some really helpful people but it also has it's fair share of grumps like any store. It is convenient especially if you live on post. The food court is your standard px food court -BK, Taco.Johns, Charlies, Subway, Anthony's. There are a lot of great kiosks as well. read more

The prices are ok compared to other places, but the service is pretty bad at times. It is like you owe them something for being tax free.

I definitely love the no tax and low prices. Bigger than the one on Peterson Air Force Base. It has a bigger purse selection.

One of the nicest PXs I've been too. Very large selection of items and prices are pretty good. I purchased a makeup blending sponge for 5.25 and it's originally priced around 10-15 bucks. Also has a nice selection of electronics. read more

I have found some really cheap things. There are always items on clearance and when I go to pay for them they are cheaper. They also price match. I just wish they have more registers open especially when it's crowded. read more

Pretty good as far as PXs go. They have a good selection of sports attire and local Colorado things. It is currently being remodeled, but they laid everything coherently, so that is nice. I enjoy going here and looking around, even if it's just outside in the hallway. read more

They have the new flat white coffee. The name says it all, FLAT! It must of been the barista. They were also super slow.
