After I relocated from Fountain, Colorado right outside of Colorado Springs, there were a few…read morebusinesses that stuck in my head and one in particular that stayed in my heart, Rivon Gas station. The owner of this particular gas station is one of the most honest truly genuine individuals I have ever met. With my job being 25-30 minutes away and driving an SUV, gas is surely pricy in this decade. In addition to the sometimes added stress of gas, being a single mother of very active children and working a sometimes very stressful job also took its toll some days. Rivon Gas is where I began to go as not only was the gas cheaper but the owner remembered my face from day one and would always ask me if I'm okay, ask about my children etc....and would offer to help in anyway he could sometimes when he saw I was down. I saw many people go in and out of the Gas Station just to say hello to the owner so you know customer service was always at its best. I hope that when I do travel back to Fountain, Colorado Rivon Gas is still standing so I cannot only fill up at a cheaper price but say hello and thank him for being a true example of great customer service and humility.

Especially at these prices today.... We gas up here every time we visit Colorado Springs, CO and forgot to do a review (my apologies).. They keep it very clean inside and out. I was told the restrooms were clean as well. (Via the hubby). Also he said the sales clerk was very polite and friendly.... The shelves were well and neatly stocked and have several sales going on for all your snacking and drinking needs. I guess the fact that I can get fuel reasonably is a plus for me. Who doesn't love a good discount???

If you're a parent or and adult that has to take multiple kids to the bathroom, this isn't an easy feat. But OMG! I have never seen such a clean restroom in any gas station/convenience store. Most of the time I have to tell the kids don't touch anything. I think this restroom is cleaner than my home bathroom! The only thing missing is a hook on the door to hold a purse. I saw the hardware for it on the door (so maybe it fell off?). Regardless, the spotless surfaces of the commode, floors, mirror, and sink put me in awe! The gal at the counter was friendly and she greeted us with a good morning and a smile when we left. I made sure to let her know hat I have never seen such a clean restroom in any gas station! I briefly looked around as we walked out, and there is a great selection of convenience foods. I even saw some gluten-free lollipops. My hubby wanted to fill up his water bottle, and he was able to with a water fountain close to the bathroom (and he reported that the water fountain was clean too). Next time we are in The Springs and we gotta gas up/take a bathroom break.... you know where we are stopping!

Biggest issue was the bathroom. It was pretty dirty and clearly not cleaned often, which definitely brought the experience down. Not terrible overall, but could use better upkeep.
