However I was very concerned about the total price of the shutters for such a huge house we had as well as how to pick the best vendor who can do very high quality work. While doing my extensive research, I came across Castleberry Shutters. Apart from getting quotes from really big home improvement stores, I thought I will atleast get a quote from them. I met with Tim Castleberry and immediately within 15 minutes of meeting, talking to him and seeing the samples he showed to us, I knew I will be in right hands by working with them. These guys have been in business for really long time and they are local Atlanta company and manufacture their own shutters. I felt that they really cared about the quality since they were not typical third party resellers and since it was their family own business, they offered the best value for money. The best part is - Tim not only offered me an excellent price but also told me that they offer lifetime warranty which means anything happens to any of the shutters they will fix / replace it for free. I felt thats really huge. With leap of faith, I ordered shutters for my entire home and requested him to deliver on time within few days of my closing. We stayed in touch and I told him my closing date few weeks before closing and he said they are right on time. The day after I closed their staff set up a time to come and install my shutters. Their installers came on time and did an outstanding clean job installing my already looking awesome shutters. The whole look and feel of my home changed 360 degrees after shutters were installed. All my neighbors gave us compliments on this new addition to our home. My initial apprehension to hire a non branded big company for fairly large investment on this part of home upgrade soon turned into one of my best decisions so far I made while building my new home. We absolutely love their work and recommend them to all our family and friends. BTW within few days they sent a follow up warranty person to make sure to touch up every small little scratch the shutters may have developed while manufacture/ installation. That was the icing on the top! The entire time the crews (Siding and Painting) were in my yard, I felt like angels were hovering. The Siding crew had beautiful, peaceful eyes. I rarely heard them talk but when I was able to hear them, they spoke quietly to each other. They worked from 8:30am to 7:30-8:30pm, cleaned up, then came back the next morning with the same amount of energy to work all day long. The Painters were amazing!!!!! I loved the Girl Power they had and the male leader that helped them along the way. They worked the same hours, 10-12 hours per day in the heat. The gutter crew did the work in 2 hours and it is beautiful and matches the paint perfectly. It is impossible to not like Mr. Dibble. Enock was gentle, encouraging, pastor-ly, and father-ly in the way he advised me. Dayana proactively communicated with me daily on EVERYthing. They paid attention to me and were totally trustworthy in whatever they advised me to do. We are thankful that we went through Lowe's and that Lowe's sent ABC. I can add only that ABC learn to be like McDonalds. Ask about add-ons up front and DON'T be afraid to discuss money, especially the final payment, which took several phone calls, probably ten customer service agents who avoided telling me the issue, but then came HOPE today who told me the bottom line about the addition to the second half of the payment. HOPE was brave enough to tell me - lol. Be like McDonalds. They offer the add-on of a hot apple pie or drink and give the price without hesitation at the order box. They don't wait until you get to the pay window to hesitantly offer an add-on or the total price. They don't wait until you get to the pickup window, either. They do it at the order board. ABC should not be afraid to offer add-ons that Lowe's allows or they see are needed, right up front, so as not to have the customer getting the hesitation from several Customer service reps over several days when the project is finished. OTHERWISE, LOWE'S WAS PERFECT IN SENDING ABC AND I HAVE TOLD MANY, MANY, MANY PEOPLE TO USE LOWE'S FOR PROJECTS to be assured of getting people that can be trusted AND TO USE ABC FOR THEIR HOME REMODELING NEEDS. I LOVE ABC and all the people I dealt with there, including Mr. Jim Dibble (great man), Enock (gentle, wise, pastor-ly, fatherly, Supervisor), Dayana who communicated with me proactively almost daily, Ty, Stacie, Dusti, and Renaldo. I called, texted and emailed Domain (4+ times) about the problem and they would not respond. I even talked to someone who asked me to send a picture. I sent the picture and again no response. Black vinyl exterior and interior were paid for, but they pulled a bait and switch - gave me white interior vinyl that was cheaply spray painted black. All are scratched as vinyl is not made to be painted. Owner denies any problem and I'm out $8000.00 deposit after more than 6 months. Initiate lawsuit and filing a criminal complaint for fraud. Beware of doing business with this company.
