I came on a Friday and there were plenty of spots but it was during the work day. Old Navy, Charlotte Russe, Marshalls, Dillards, Bath & Body Works, New York & Company, and many more.

Back where I come from we would call this a "dirt mall" not because it's dirty but because it's…read morebasically baron inside. Not being from here, I have to imagine that back in the day this mall was poppin' based on the size of it. I mean, it's huge. Empty. But huge. This is a five star mall for mall walkers that's for sure. So there's a Dillards, Journey's, Finish Line and Spencers. There's a pet store with an actual pet inside for sale which I honestly didn't even know was legal. There are some off-beat/named stores too. A Few jewelry stores. A big Burlington and a bbq restaurant. I did one lap and was out. It was clean, I will say that! OH and there was a "food court" too. I think it had about two places open. I mean, if you need to kill time this would be the place to be. Two stars only because if I lived here and wanted to walk around and do laps here for exercise I totally would go here.

After eating at Ole Time Country Buffet we walked around to see how things have changed. There are approximately 20 stores open. The anchor stores like Macy's , Belk and JCPenney are no longer there. Senior citizens walk inside the mall daily.

Mercer Village is a cluster of shops, apartments, and restaurants that sits on the border of the…read moreMercer University campus. There is a Barnes & Nobles campus bookstore, Jittery Joes coffee shop, a Mexican restaurant, Francar's Wings, and a pizza place to name a few of the offerings. There is not always a lot of parking depending on what time you are here. There are 2 small parking lots and some street parking nearby. Since it is right next to campus, there are usually lots of Mercerians (Mercer students for those of you not lucky enough to be a Mercer Bear) that frequent the local businesses. Close to Tatnall Square Park if you're looking to take a stroll after your visit.

This shopping plaza is relatively abandoned. There is a Nu-Way Weiners (my reason for being here…read moretoday), a tanning salon, a jewelry shop and an outdoor produce stand. It is not far from 75 and next to a gas station, but it seems that progress is not taking this business with it.
