While most of my IVs elsewhere take an hour to an hour and a half they bolused a liter into him in 20 minutes which seems like it could potentially be dangerous. He was fine though, didn't bruise since his veins are ropes and I trust that the nurse knew what she was doing in that circumstance so not a big deal.
