I only wish that it wasn't always so fully packed with people. It can be quite difficult to do certain poses with so many people being inches away from you. The instructors are also friendly, non-judgmental, and quick to provide support whenever I needed help. One last thing I would mention is that hot yoga isn't for everyone. I personally prefer regular flow yoga because I sometimes find the hot temperature to be too much for me. From my understanding, they do not offer regular flow yoga classes here. Other than that, I would highly recommend Oxygen Yoga & Fitness to anyone seeking to begin practicing or continue practicing yoga!

If you are a no show or cancel last minute, there should be fees / penalties. Overall, the instructors are great and do provide enough feedback. Their styles are quite different, as are the classes, so it's helpful to spend time trying different ones. I have seen amazing results in strength, core, mobility and flexibility (and I have been doing yoga / dancing for years and this is by far the one that has provided the most sustained and sustainable results).

I watched her barely instruct students while sitting at a far distance looking downward. Post class she left her phone and I saw she was scrolling Instagram. Saw her roll her eyes at me when she gave me a correction. I was told classes are geared towards the majority of the class and was told the majority had injuries. There are 12 reformers and I watched instructors sit on a high chair or table near the entrance giving instructions from afar. Just buy a reformer and take class using YouTube would be better. I was a new student to this studio but not to the practice and I was not impressed. I'll try one more instructor but I was extremely disappointed in such behavior coming from a manager. I'll just go back to classical Pilates where instructors confirm all students are engaging proper muscles minus the eye roll and Max 4-8 students. I waited a week to post this, without any emotions or tone just simple facts. How to improve CP? get off the phone and stop sitting so far from the students you should be walking around and standing the entire time or maybe this is just contemporary practice the new way to teach Pilates is sitting and looking at your phone.

I was just going to try one class because of the infared heat. but it was so amazing, I bought an unlimited pass. The infared heat is soothing and really helps me stretch much deeper than ever before in 20 years of classes! I look so forward to it and notice right away the difference when its turned on. I hope i never have to do yoga without it :))) I have been blown away many times here, by different young women that have pretty much 'choreographed' amazing sequences of postures or exercises for each of the different classes they teach. Interestingly, some also teach at other Oxygen locations, and also found the time to compose incredibly dynamic classes for us. It's really commendable! I hope Amarjeet (the sweet & attentive owner) will persuade them to teach at West Van location even more! I found almost every class great. You enter into a small lobby/sitting area, then cut through the studio into the change area/cubby hole area. For my first visit, I came early to sign up, but there was no one around, and no signage or anything. I would've gotten changed and ready for practice, if there was access to the change area, instead, once class ends, you're in the same small area as everyone else from either the previous or next class. The studio is one of the smallest I have seen. They offer a variety of classes. (I personally thought that some of the workout classes shouldn't be done in a hot environment, but different strokes for different folks, I guess) Free street parking around the studio.
