Our point person, Michaela Morrell, made our wedding phenomenal for her attention to detail and her attentiveness to our needs. We hired a 'butler' (Diego) who was fantastic and helpful. The food was amazing (though in the grand tradition of weddings, we missed our own, extended-length cocktail hour due to a snafu--see my review of Silver Star Limos...) and the servers were wonderful. At the end of the night, our gifts and the items we had brought with us to the club (toasting flutes, cake servers, etc) were packaged up and cleaned for us to take home that night. I am continually getting comments from guests about how our wedding was the best one they had been to, which I can mostly attribute to the Club. I cannot say enough about this establishment and their level of professionalism!! I want to have more events just so I can have them here! One word: Amazing.

Despite the lack of rain the course was in good shape and the greens top notch form. Lots of blind shots, challenging greens and a shot-makers paradise. The 19th hole offers a nice bar and small dining area, with surprisingly good food and well stocked liquor. We (me) had a tough round, then a drink and a bite. Definitely would play again - my playing partner agreed and he shot a 78 :(

I was starting to feel very sophisticated at that point. The croissants with assorted spreads and jams were outstanding. I started with the oysters, which were perfectly prepared and practically melted in your mouth. My wife was initially going to order the mixed salad, but I convinced her to try the burrata and prosciutto instead -- a great decision. My son ordered the spicy yellowfin tuna pizzetta, and my mother-in-law had the cream of artichoke soup. The general manager came over and apologized for the delay, but I struggled to explain that the issue wasn't just the wait -- it was the lack of attention to detail and service standards you expect at a restaurant like the Kittle House, especially at this price point. I was happy to pay for a fine dining experience; I simply expected the service to match. What really caught me off guard was when he responded by asking, "Do you work in restaurants?" I found that somewhat offensive, as if my opinion needed credentials to be valid. Ironically, I actually have 30 years of hospitality experience, including work at Forbes-rated properties. To their credit, the waiter later apologized, and they removed the coffee charge from the bill. Despite the service hiccup, I would absolutely return. They also take donations - our preferred route for our daughter's college softball equipment all of which was in A shape. We believe in reuse, and hopefully were able to provide someone else some expensive gear at a reasonable price. But do shop carefully.
