The Forge Tearooms is a spacious and light tea shop in the picturesque village of Hutton-le-Hole. Lots of tables of varying sizes, meant all sizes of parties could be catered for. The menu whilst not huge, was amazingly well priced, with a variety of items like toasted teacakes, burgers and a wide variety of homemade cakes including millionaires shortbread and the largest Victoria Sponge I had seen for some time! Drinks wise the standard range of coffees, cold drinks and teas, of which Yorkshire tea was heavily championed. There was also an Ice Cream Parlour which was in dormancy due to the fact it was winter I suspect.
There was also a range of gifts including cards, aprons, tea-towels, fluffy sheep etc., as well as Yorkshire tea souveneir boxes. read more
