Booked and paid 5 days in advance for a catered event. Called the day before to confirm pick up at 12p. I get there at 11:50a to be inform the food is now being cooked and it won't be ready. I had to demand a some type of refund and they didn't even give me back half of the payment. The food ended up being 2 hours LATE!! As a West Indian, it's disgusting that black business continue to do this to their communities. I would NEVER RECOMMEND them for events. Mind you the owner suggested that I could travel from Queens to pick up in Brooklyn. Should be SHAME After I left my review on IG and Google the owner tries to DM to issue a hidden apology followed by blocking me to hide my review.

Their menu !!

Definitely delicious & dam good Jerk Chicken !! I've been passing this spot for the last three months or so inhaling their delicious aromas coming from their curbside BBQ and just this Sunday night I was going by to hit KFC just a few blocks away and I noticed that there was only two people on line .. This is a rare sight !!!! Normally their line is 25 to 50 people deep so I banged a Uey and jumped out gave my order which was for a whole Chicken $ 24. Bucks & a Quarter Chicken $ 7. Bucks total $ 31 bucks. Very friendly Jamaicans grilling & serving up some of the best jerk chicken ever.. super moist mixed up with that perfectly char that we all love that u can only get when cooking over coal !!!! Of course we took their jerk bbq sauce to go on the side ... the wife & kid can't handle heat which I thought their jerk sauce had just the perfect amount of heat on the money !!! So glad we finally had the chance to try their Chicken ... FYI, we normally have to run all the way over to Utica Avenue to Blue Mountain Jerk House to get out Jerk fix and now it's just a quick 5 minute ride .... They have muck more then just chicken, a large selection of sides ... I will definitely return to try out more of their menu .... This is a concession sidewalk set up; very clean & neat. Just look for the smoke & the long lines .... Thanks, Greg D & family

Terrible service. One person jerking chicken and serving people. He's very slow and doesn't seem to care about people waiting. He stops to have a conversation with someone in a car while everyone is waiting and gives them chicken. This is why we can't support our own sometimes this is ridiculous. I'll never support this business again and alot of people out here feel the same.

Jerk chicken with jerk and barbecue sauce

Saw this street grill earlier today and decided to give it a try on our way back from the store. Right away, I noticed a decent sized crowd/line and figured it had to be good if folks were willing to stand outside for it. The jerk chicken did not disappoint. Ordered the 1/2 jerk chicken option. Smoky flavor remained present in the smell and taste off the grill, juicy and well seasoned right down to the bone. I waited for about 10 minutes but everything moved quickly (from ordering to being served + paying). I'm not sure if they take credit cards since we paid cash but overall worth standing in line for.

The food is great, the jerk chicken with the sweet sauce was scrumptious. The service was good as well.

Yaad Man Thing - Jerk Chicken & Pork ONLY with festival.

Yaad Man Thing

I saw this restaurant on IG and had to go there to see for myself. I am happy to say everything you…read moreheard about them is absolutely true! The food is amazing. I purchased a small Jerk chicken dinner with rice & peas, steamed cabbage and a side of festival (3 comes in the order) First of all, the portion for a small is a lot (I couldn't finish it). The jerk chicken is well seasoned and juicy, rice & peas and cabbage equally delicious and not hard at all. I loved the festival, soft and delicious. The staff is very nice and welcoming. This establishment is a take-out restaurant and I was there around 2:30pm (Thursday) and there was a line but it moves quickly. There are 2 locations, the other is in Queens. If you're looking for some delicious food, I highly suggest you make your way to Yaad Man Thing. Tell them I sent you. Enjoy!

One of the BEST Jamaican spots in Little Caribbean Brooklyn. It is a must try to understand why! The lobster and conch is cooked to order, so you may want to call ahead to avoid waiting too long. I also ordered plantains and a festival - both done well, but be prepared for small servings of both sides. This vibrant place is more like a pick up and go, so don't come here expecting to dine in. The service is normally what you experience at most Caribbean spots - place your order, pay, wait and you're on your way. Nothing epic - you're here for the food! So, if you are in Brooklyn and interested in taking some Jamaican food to go, this is a great spot to try!

Warung Roadside - pad thai in a cone

So this food truck made an appearance at my school for an event. We had a choice of Medina Halal,…read moreGorilla Cheese and Warung Roadside. Of course being the foodie that I am, I needed to Yelp each truck before deciding, and already being a sucker for Asian food, Warung won hands down. All of the pictures that they had on Yelp looked amazing. Then I looked at the menu for the options we had and the food was all the same. I thought, great! You'd be an idiot not to choose this truck. ANYWAYS, WOW, what an extreme disappoint is all I can say. They were offering their Pad Thai which was described as "Award winning Bangkok street style wok-fried noodles with tofu, scallion, bean sprouts, egg and peanut". Let me tell you, this Pad thai they gave out was the WORST pad thai I've ever had in my life. First of all, it looked absolutely NOTHING like the photo. (The photos look effing amazing). The entire dish was plain, flavorless and sauceless. The noodles were plain white, no added sauce or anything like it. They were definitely not wok fried as described but tasted like they were plain boiled. Image boiling a box of pasta, straining it and then eating it JUST like that. That's exactly what this entire dish tasted like. There was no tofu, scallion or bean sprouts. I had to add SRIRACHA to the dish for flavor. You don't add sriracha to pad thai!!! But I was desperate for some flavor. I'm sorry but WHY would you demolish your entire dish just because you're on a college campus? I'm sure the school is paying you very well to be there and what you did is basically RIP THEM OFF. Does the school know you did that? Or did you tell them beforehand that you're going to revamp your dishes for the worst because this is a school event? I'd love to know. No wonder the Halal line was almost 10 times as long. People probably know the deal. This was my fist school event so I had nothing to go by. If you can provide a valid explanation I will take down this post. However as of now, I will never recommend anyone to eat from this truck. Worst pad thai/Asian food I've ever had in my life.

They made the entire process - from coming up with a menu for a large (with several dietary restrictions) group, to working out all of the details leading up to the big day - easy and stress-free. Trevor and crew prepared and served passed hors d'oeuvres, then followed up with a full dinner buffet and a snack that could be ordered at the truck. Everyone raved about the food, which was certainly worth raving about! We particularly enjoyed the bao buns, holy basil stir fry with japanese eggplant, waterfall hanger steak, and chicken satay. Thanks to Warung Roadside for helping us have a really fun and delicious wedding day! Would recommend for your special event!
