I did a paint night and I'm actually really happy with the art we created. They chose a good subject and we had excellent support in our course. I wanted to go a bit darker in colors and was helped to create something impressive considering I'm no artist. I love the art in their gallery, the vivid colors and the mystical subjects they choose. I highly recommend checking them out to purchase something to brighten up your home or to take an evening paint class. read more

Decided to go to a few different art stores/gallery that we've never been to before. Really don't have much room for artwork, but love to look. I fell in love with a lot of the art in this place especially the colors. So I bought a couple of prints, and then I went to Michael's and framed them. I also bought some decals for my car and my girlfriends. Don't remember the guys name that was in there, but he was extremely helpful and not pushy. He told me his girlfriend works at the San Luis Obispo Museum, so we definitely will be going. read more

My hubby and I fell in love with ForeverStoked and it wasn't hard, their artwork seemed to follow us everywhere we went! We loved their pieces so much, we had to come check them out for ourselves and we are so glad we did! We would've purchased so much more if we could, but we did take home a copy of our 2 favorite pieces and I just couldn't wait to frame them and hang them on our walls! We loved the gallery and the staff was super friendly and informative, we couldn't have asked for a better experience! We will definitely be back to purchase more pieces! read more

I love this little gallery of laid back art created and run by even more laid back artists. I've met two of the artists and both are genuine and personable. I lean more toward the work of Chris Pederson, but all 3 artists are worth checking out. In addition to canvas, you can see what they've imagined and created on surf boards. Prints are available in various sizes as well as some personal items with images from their collection. The last time I was there, I took a friend and she and I sat right down on an bench seat that seemed to come out of an old van. It was the perfect place to lean back and take in the surreal created by these local artists. Keep doing what you're doing, Forever Stoked. I can't wait for my next Update: today I saw that one of the artists from Forever Stoked took time to respond to my review. Just one more reason to love this place! Thanks guys! read more

I'm so glad we made a point of visiting Forever Stoked today! I was quite impressed by the quality and variety of the works they have for sale. Forever Stoked is not only a rad art gallery, filled with gorgeous paintings of seascapes and whimsical visions, but is also a great place to have fun with friends and learn to paint during their Paint Parties. I've done 3 of Chris Pedersen's Paint Parties, and had such a great time. One of them was a birthday party my husband set up. He reserved 8 spots, invited some friends, and it was such a memorable night. Everyone who attends can bring whatever food and drinks they want, hang out, and Chris takes everyone through painting their own painting, step by step. He's really encouraging and genuinely enjoys teaching the classes. I highly recommend it! I've enjoyed the paint party as well as the art...amazing unique art from a few artists hang in the Gallery. The paint party is a great and relaxed atmosphere where the rule seema to be have fun and create what you feel. I've met some pretty rad people and intend on returning for more fun and it feels pretty sweet bringing home an original piece from me. On my first visit to California I had the pleasure of getting to know Charlie and Chris. I not only got to know them but got to know them even better through viewing their incredible art gallery. They paint and capture all sorts of different beautiful scenic paintings and these are contrasted by some incredibly interesting abstract pieces. The different art styles and details had me wandering around the Forever Stoked gallery for quite some time. This place is cool beyond cool. They're keeping the dream alive and creating some seriously authentic and beautiful pieces of art. Every ocean, coastal and art enthusiast needs to check this place out. It's the least stuffy art gallery probably this world has seen. They have small gifts too for birthdays or thoughtful things like necklaces & earrings. There's even baby onesies and sweatshirts to nab. Don't miss the chance to visit forever stoked! If you arent a fan of any of the above, no worries, FS is likely one the best galleries of you will ever come across. Charlie,Chris, and featured artist Dave are not only top tier artists but individuals as well. When you walk into FS, it's an instant dose of creative stimulation, and higher thought. Artists Charlie Clingman and Chris Pedersen met in Mexico on a surf trip when they were 15 years old. Art and surfing kept the two friends close and in 1998 they founded Forever Stoked. From original paintings to giclees, prints, greeting cards, stickers, and locally-crafted accessories, there is something for all budgets. This spacious industrial style gallery showcases their work as well as other amazing artists. Art opening receptions occur every few months and paintings are constantly rotated keeping the space fresh. We invite you to explore this fabulous gallery created by two friends who share a love of art, surfing, and nature.

The New Times ran a feature showing some of the work on exhibit, so we drove out to the coast for the day and sauntered in. The gallery is refurbished since days of old, and features a nice exhibit space on the first floor, while a second large art gallery is somewhat hidden up a set of stairs. The bird drawings paintings, and prints were uniquely evocative of our central coast area and the works also drew upon the beautiful surrounding environment. Since January and February are primo "Birders" months, and Morro Bay now has an ongoing Birders Festival each year, this was a perfect match. We enjoyed the display and the ceramics and jewelry that the upstairs had. We will return to more shows in this gallery.

It was prominently displayed with two beautiful seascapes on the way in. She has a very lovely light style and it made me feel just like I was out at sea. I asked her about it and she said that she did spend quite a bit of time on kayaks out in the ocean, so that was where she really got the feeling of light and air that showed in the painting We also walked around and looked at a lot of the other art. There are many many artists represented here, and each artist has their own small wall space and sometimes a shelf as well for their art. There's all kinds of art; watercolors, oil painting, acrylic paintings, and also some jewelry and pottery. I liked a lot of the earrings that were displayed in the window with the light behind them which made all the colors sparkle and gleam. There was were also some nice wheel-throne coffee mugs that had a nice subtle ombre effect. We wandered around and really enjoyed the show and chatting with our artist friend.

The lovely planted ceramic pots out front were just a sample of the fine pottery within. I loved the pairing of plants with the forms of the pots, and picked up a succulent I had been looking for on the way in from the carts outside. Inside the colors and selection of the pottery was enchanting, with beautiful blues, greens, and multi-colored pots. I especially loved the seaside colored lamp, and the black and turquoise matte glaze vases that will be featured in the upcoming Succulent Plant and Pottery Sale called Spring Fling. The sale will be at 2016 9th street in Los Osos, and features four local succulent dealers, along with Richard's pottery. I chatted awhile with Richard, who is friendly and personable He kindly gave me a card for the show when I explained that my succulent garden was part of the Covid "get out of the house and do something fun in the afternoons plan." We have visited many local purveyers of succulents on our trips, and this next step is finding beautiful containers for them. I was happy getting a small pot with earth colors that looked like geological layers! Richard's stylish and elegant pots combine to show off the forms and colors of the plants without overwhelming them! Can't wait to add more to my collection!
