When I complained, she said she can erase easily when I come back for retouch. But, when I went for retouch, she said she won't do retouching if I complain about two different shape. I've never been able to do my own brows, so when I realize that my pictures always make my brows look dumb, I was like, "I gotta get them just tattooed in!" I've gotten my eyeliner done in Asia a year ago, the same time my mother got her brows done. while my eyeliner look thin and normal, her brows looked very fake for awhile. I was afraid that my brows would come out like that, so I made sure that I found a place with awesome Yelp reviews and that doesn't do a solid tattoo color. I looked through a lot of pics and thought that the feathering technique looked kinda weird too, since i already have thick brows that just need to be shaped without looking fake. I decided on Forever Permanent Makeup since the pictures made it seem like the person did their brow makeup, instead of having some hair tattooed on. I had no idea how to shape my brow and Camilla took good care in drawing them in and making sure I feel comfy before proceeding. I then had some topical anesthesia applied for 20 min before she started her art. She rarely used the electric tattooing tool. I think she only used that for light shading. Most of the time, she used her own homemade tattooing tool, made with a stick and a needle wrapped in some silk thread (I think). She has a fresh one for every new client of course. Basically, she dips the dowel into the ink and deposits the color onto your brow one poke at a time. It was pricey, $400 for brows including 1 free touchup at the one month mark. The tattoo looked dark to me the first day (only because I never color in my brows). After the first day, it looked super natural, like I was born with perfectly shaped/groomed brows. Nowadays, all I have to do is pluck around the outside of the brow and trim any long hairs. About 2 minutes of upkeep a week, yippee! read more

Camilla uses a handheld tool to perfect your eyebrows and offers retouching in a month to make sure the results are to your satisfaction. Some people are afraid to have the ink turn a different color, but this is a very natural black or brown ink. My eyebrows have never turned green or grey, they simply start to fade after about 3-4 years and I go back for another visit. They also do not look fake at all, Camilla takes pride in making a natural look that fits your style. I was recommended by a friend and I would highly recommend to anyone else. First time getting eyebrows/upper eyeliner done and spent hours researching the best place to go. After narrowing down the list to a few places, I called Forever Permanent to check about their hours (website doesnt list any) and ended up making an appointment there. Turns out she tries to limit work to 3 clients a day, is busiest on Saturdays, tends not to work on Sundays and will make herself available around your schedule. She was able to fit me in at 10am two days after I called, which was great considering other highly rated places in LA were fully booked for months. Cute, well decorated office and very hygienic. During the consultation I was hesitant because the eyebrows looked thick and archless, but because of the previous good reviews I decided to trust her and went ahead with the eyebrows and upper eyeliner. Super glad I did. From start to finish she made sure to double check I was satisfied with the shape and color and modified the shape to have more of an arch like I wanted, but not too much. She was extremely candid in giving me advice on the best type of brows/eyeliner for my face type and it seemed she had lots of experience/knowledge to draw from. The whole procedure didn't hurt at all. Once the numbing cream wore off my eyebrows were fine but my lids stung badly. She warned me that my eyes could swell the next day, which did happen but nothing too bad. I'm stoked about being able to leave the house without putting on any makeup!! Free touchup in the first two months and 50% off for any repeat procedures within 3 years is great too. Awesome work and great care, really friendly and takes the time to explain everything to you. So I've been wanting to get my eyebrows done for a while and I finally came here with my mom. She got her eyebrows and eyeliner done, while I just got my eyebrows done. I've got to say, my mom's eyeliner looks so good on her. She seriously looks so much younger. It's also been about a week after my eyebrow tattoo. It looks very natural right now, but when I first got it done, it was pretty dark. The tattooing itself wasn't that painful, it just stung a little. After a couple days, the skin on your eyebrow should start to peel off and reveal a way lighter color. Camilla did an amazing job on my eyebrows, eye liner and lips. I was a tough case since I am 60 (looser skin & lines) and have already had permanent makeup. Also, my lips required a couple of touchups which were included in the initial price and for which Camilla was readily available. Although I was still pleased with my old makeup it had faded and I wanted to brighten it up. The person I went to before was no longer available so I started looking around the neighborhood and searching online. I looked all over Los Angeles, from Beverly Hills to the South Bay and found that Camilla's prices were in the ball park and in fact considerably less than some. I am caucasian and don't speak Korean but was able to communicate with Camilla. I feel that she is a true make-up artist who knows how to maximize your features. As always, chemistry is important when you do intimate work like this and what works for one doesn't always work for another. I got my top and bottom eyeliner tattoo at forever and I absolutely love it. Camilla is so precise with her work and pays attention to detail. She first drew what she thought would look best on me, and let me approve it before starting. During the procedure, when it started to hurt, she would stop and put on more numbing cream. She made sure I wasn't in pain and was very patient. Every so often she would let me check in the mirror to see if I liked it. Even if there were parts that were a little bare but I didn't notice, she noticed and would fill it in. I got a retouch and she carefully filled in any areas that were a little lighter from the scab peeling. Even areas she didn't need to re-do, she still did just to make sure. I brought my friend here to get her brows done before she starts chemotherapy. She was devastated by her diagnosis and the inevitable effects on her appearance. Though not a vain woman, she was still determined to mitigate some of these effects even though she was extremely nervous about the idea of being stuck with brows she didn't like. Reluctantly, she waited til the last minute to have me make an appointment. To my surprise, Camilla was able to squeeze her in the very same day. I was amazed that my friend was in no pain during the application of her brows. I've had my own brows, eyeliner and lips tattooed by other artists and remember all of them to be quite painful but Camilla was extra attentive in applying numbing cream repeatedly during the process. My friend was so pleased with the result that she decided to have her eyeliner done as well. Again, she accommodated us later that day despite her tight schedule. Unfortunately, this proved to be more painful but that cannot be helped. She is a defiantly a perfectionist, focused and detail oriented. Though not cheap, I found Camilla's prices to be reasonable.
