We had a camera that we checked remotely and you should have one! Meetings with the Executive Director and Wellness Director were held at our request but nothing changed after their promises. The CNA's are very lazy and left our loved one in soiled diapers with urine and feces. They would walk in the room, look but not touch him and walk back out. Minimal effort is made to do anything. Diapers were not changed on any schedule and sometimes not even once in 24 hours The laundry situation is a joke. After realizing that the laundry facility was in dire need of care, we took the laundry home. The machines are old, don't work right and the laundry detergent that feeds into the machines is usually empty. Most of the machines need to be replaced They laughed at and yelled at him because his diaper was so full of urine and feces. The caregivers morale is low. They came in and yelled at our family member because they had to change him. We finally got one fired, but the others still made cruel comments to him and laughed. Housekeeping and cleanliness is an issue. Rooms were moped with dirty water and vanity and si sky were never cleaned. our loved one died in early December but we were not refunded the balance of the December rent $3, 300 until Feb 6. In our view the owner of Ivy Springs is enriching himself with this low budget facility to the detriment of those who proclaim to give quality care and respect. We will never place anyone in Ivy Springs or any Mainstay Senior living facility, the parent company. Please please do not use this facility. we had a family member spend from 9 to 3 every day and it was horrific.

My mom lived at a larger assisted…read moreliving facility for 2 years in an early memory care neighborhood but began to need added security at night (bed rails/ cameras) due to being a fall risk and better staff: resident ratio for oversight during the day due to her impaired mobility. Zoe, the owner, is incredibly responsive, very in tune with the residents, and communicative with us about anything potentially going on with my mom before I even get there to notice which has been just a huge relief to know someone is actually paying attention to the signs of a UTI or anything else that may be going on. She even takes those that are able out occasionally for salon days! The home is only 5 bedrooms with 2 staff during the day and 1 at night so the resident: staff ratio is better than anywhere I've found and certainly better than any assisted living you will find! For someone with dementia, less is more and by less I just mean - less people, less commotion, less vast spaces than assisted living, but much much better care all in a true home environment. With only 4 caretakers, my mom very quickly became familiar with and felt comfortable and safe around them vs constant rotations at assisted living. She is able to sleep in, bed rails can be provided as needed, security cameras with audible alarms to staff during the night, and just less space to worry about oversight or being out of sight to where someone like my mom is less likely to fall. The home had comfy recliners in bedrooms and living rooms so residents can lounge comfortably which is a luxury over assisted living! Lori, the other owner, is a registered nurse and has been really helpful in streamlining medication management and dietary needs for my mom. I'm sure I'm missing a million good things about Regency but it has truly been a very positive experience to see my mom so well rested, so happy, and putting on a little weight - she looks better than she has in a very long time and I know it's due to the level of care and oversight she receives from everyone at Regency. Shout out to the amazing staff - Shereka, Candy, Diki, And Tefanie! It's like a little family there. I highly recommend if you are considering alternative options for your loved one to check this out especially for dementia care vs a memory care unit at assisted living both due to the level of care and the level of comfort and quality of life for your loved one.

This facility is impeccably clean well maintained. Zoe and her staff were truly unbelievable in the loving care that they gave my wife until her final days. I know my wife loved this home since she expressed this numerous times. and her love for Terri and Donna. Although the entire staff is excellent, I need to especially recognize Terri and Donna who are now are a part of our extended family. During her time there, my family and I were always welcomed with open arms and we all felt like family. Memory care is an absolute nightmare. The floor is like fly paper, they do the laundry, but never even turned the clothes right side out and just stuff them in the drawers, and they have one supervisor that they rely on for seven days a week 24 hours a day. That is an impossible job for anyone and they're too cheap to find extra help. There is very little mental stimulation for the people in memory care. I think it's all about the money and they hope the memory care people don't remember any details to report to their family. The staff doesn't even notice a guest walking in at times. All of them are over in the corner, looking at their telephones. I had walked in more than once to find my family member lying on a bed directly on the plastic! No sheets, no blankets no nothing. We also had numerous pieces of jewelry come up missing from the memory care unit. Granted, we shouldn't have had anything expensive there, but still you like to trust the staff.. Say no to their memory if you love the person you're looking to place there!

This last year during the COVID virus has been challenging for all senior communities. TCW has met the challenges head on, and has been proactive in all areas where needed to continue to keep the residents safe and healthy. From delivering meals directly to each resident, ensuring to screen residents for infection, monitoring and cleanliness, following state mandated guidelines, coordinating that all residents are vaccinated and working daily to keep each resident engaged in the community during a global pandemic, I applaud the staff. There are so.many outstanding and dedicated staff members that have gone above and beyond to ensure the residents quality of life is the best that it can be. In a pandemic, that is no small feat! TCW is a beautiful facility, filled with caring residents. My mother loves this community, the activities, the staff, her lovely apartment and her friends. Just walking in the door, makes you realize that happy residents live here. Thank you TCW staff for all your commitment. So glad that 2020 is over, and the virus pandemic is resolving. I moved my mother to Lia's care in December 2019 with a lot of personal reluctance as I wanted my mother to remain with me until she passed (she had dementia). After realizing I would not be equipped to give her the best care, I found Lia and even though my mother passed on Dec 25, 2020, I still thank God every day for leading me to Lia. When I originally went to visit her care center, I immediately noticed that when Lia walked through the den area where all the ladies were watching TV/movies, they would reach for her smiling and trying to get her attention. They wanted her to give them a hug or just to say hello. They ALL wanted her attention and were so happy to see her in the room. That was the final thing that sold me as I knew these reactions from the residents were genuine. Lia took care of my mother as if she were her own mother. Never once did I have a complaint about anything. Of course, once Covid hit and I could not come see my mom every day, it was wonderful to have the peace of mind of knowing that I did not need to worry at all. Lia would Facetime with me however often I wanted, to make sure I got to see my mom's sweet face even though my mom was so far gone she did not know me. You will certainly realize very quickly after moving your loved one to Lia's care that it is most definitely the best decision you ever made!!
