Diapers were not changed on any schedule and sometimes not even once in 24 hours The laundry situation is a joke. After realizing that the laundry facility was in dire need of care, we took the laundry home. The machines are old, don't work right and the laundry detergent that feeds into the machines is usually empty. Most of the machines need to be replaced They laughed at and yelled at him because his diaper was so full of urine and feces. The caregivers morale is low. They came in and yelled at our family member because they had to change him. We finally got one fired, but the others still made cruel comments to him and laughed. Housekeeping and cleanliness is an issue. Rooms were moped with dirty water and vanity and si sky were never cleaned. our loved one died in early December but we were not refunded the balance of the December rent $3, 300 until Feb 6. In our view the owner of Ivy Springs is enriching himself with this low budget facility to the detriment of those who proclaim to give quality care and respect. We will never place anyone in Ivy Springs or any Mainstay Senior living facility, the parent company. We were fortunate to find a 2 bedroom and kitche area so we changed The second bedroom to a nice comfortable living room that has a door that leads out to a private patio. This is not cheap but after losing my father at the previous place these final years with mom I think will be comfortable here at Arbor Terrace. We came here after her brain surgery and she's had five strokes in the last two years and other injuries but no cancer and no dementia. I travel a lot but I'm with her at least three days a week and she's very demanding on the staff and me which is just her personality, but she's the love of my life and caring for her is my first priority I can't be prouder of the facilities here from the directors to the kitchen staff the medical staff all of the daily caregivers that works so hard to make everyone here as comfortable as they can be. I don't know how they do it. Everybody goes through various changes and illnesses in the later age but they manage it well. I thought I would write this during the pandemic as it's important to know that this location best that I can tell practices extreme safety, restricts entry from outsiders, are getting meals to everybody on time or three times a day every day, and dealing with family trying to see their loved ones who they haven't seen in over a month. There's many people to thank thank you all for the job you do the heroes that you are the care that you give to those we can't be with every day. Highly recommend!

Both Joe and Allis welcomed us and spent a great deal of time sharing their vision and commitment to their residents. We brought mom back for a visit and she immediately fell in love with them and the facility. Their warm and caring personalities made mom feel very secure and they immediately became friends. When move in day came, mom was anxious but at ease with how smoothly it went. She settled in almost immediately. Both Joe and Allis are exceptional people who care deeply for their residents. As mom began to have physical difficulties, they knew what to do and how to respond to every need. Mom often said how secure she felt and how much she loved being there. Our family was extremely pleased with everything that they did for mom. I visited very frequently and the place was always spotless and the staff was so personal, loving and attentive. Even when nobody was around my grandmother would tell us how much she loved the people there and she felt like this is where she belonged. On the day we had to say goodbye to my grandmother the owners and staff were not only there for my grandmother but for us the family as well. One of the assistants made a point to tell us she loved her and to make sure we knew her favorite song. That spoke volumes to me about the personal relationship my grandmother had with them. There is everything to love about Regency Personal Care Home! My mom lived at a larger assisted…read moreliving facility for 2 years in an early memory care neighborhood but began to need added security at night (bed rails/ cameras) due to being a fall risk and better staff: resident ratio for oversight during the day due to her impaired mobility. Zoe, the owner, is incredibly responsive, very in tune with the residents, and communicative with us about anything potentially going on with my mom before I even get there to notice which has been just a huge relief to know someone is actually paying attention to the signs of a UTI or anything else that may be going on. She even takes those that are able out occasionally for salon days! The home is only 5 bedrooms with 2 staff during the day and 1 at night so the resident: staff ratio is better than anywhere I've found and certainly better than any assisted living you will find! For someone with dementia, less is more and by less I just mean - less people, less commotion, less vast spaces than assisted living, but much much better care all in a true home environment. With only 4 caretakers, my mom very quickly became familiar with and felt comfortable and safe around them vs constant rotations at assisted living. She is able to sleep in, bed rails can be provided as needed, security cameras with audible alarms to staff during the night, and just less space to worry about oversight or being out of sight to where someone like my mom is less likely to fall. The home had comfy recliners in bedrooms and living rooms so residents can lounge comfortably which is a luxury over assisted living! Lori, the other owner, is a registered nurse and has been really helpful in streamlining medication management and dietary needs for my mom. I'm sure I'm missing a million good things about Regency but it has truly been a very positive experience to see my mom so well rested, so happy, and putting on a little weight - she looks better than she has in a very long time and I know it's due to the level of care and oversight she receives from everyone at Regency. Shout out to the amazing staff - Shereka, Candy, Diki, And Tefanie! It's like a little family there. I highly recommend if you are considering alternative options for your loved one to check this out especially for dementia care vs a memory care unit at assisted living both due to the level of care and the level of comfort and quality of life for your loved one.

This facility is impeccably clean well maintained. Zoe and her staff were truly unbelievable in the loving care that they gave my wife until her final days. I know my wife loved this home since she expressed this numerous times. and her love for Terri and Donna. Although the entire staff is excellent, I need to especially recognize Terri and Donna who are now are a part of our extended family. During her time there, my family and I were always welcomed with open arms and we all felt like family.
