The Forest Park branch library is the newest of the Clayton County libraries. Opening in 2012, the facility houses a state of the art meeting room and computer lab, public access computers equipped with the latest productivity software, comfortable seating for reading and studying, and a dedicated teen area. Plenty of computers, books, and tables with outlets for phones and charger outlets. As well as a lot of comfy seats to just relax in. You will indeed get the normal teenagers every so often, but if they decide to be loud at all it's never inside. Friendly and helpful employees. Ample free parking available in front of the building. Overall a great experience being at a library afer a long time.

This place holds a lot of microfilm of data about families, businesses and all sorts of history that you will probably not find anywhere else. The inside is 180,000 square feet. The National Archives in Atlanta is located directly next door (left side) to Clayton State University main entrance in Morrow. Staff here are very friendly, professional and know what they are doing. Which is very important and they are there to help. [ What they offer ] The records kept here are from 1716 to the 1980's and include architectural drawings, maps, a large amount of text, and pictures. Currently I am a junior at Clayton State University and the reason why I originally had chosen this…read moreuniversity is due the student classroom size. I am not the type of student who does well in big classes, as I easy become distracted. The classes here probably average around 20-30 with classes that are within your major and the core classes can be larger. For example, my Biology classes typically had about 50-60 students. I took a while off so I could do some travelling and since I started back the school has grown quite a bit. In the past they only offered associates and bachelors. They now have an excellent MBA program thanks to their past School of Business Dean Ernest (Bud) Miller (MBA Harvard Graduate), who helped Clayton get their AACSB accreditation, which only the top business schools in the nation have attained. In the past couple of years they have built a new business building, a new science building, new dormitory and a really nice activity centre with a excellent gym. They just started building another science building. So I am glad that this school is always trying to improve, get new programs and really create a better environment for its students. The faculty is incredible here. So far almost all of my professors have been so wonderful and I have nothing but high respect for them. I love that because this school has smaller classes that as a student I am able to really get to know the professors, visit their offices and ask them questions. They really care and want their students to succeed, at least those who show they are trying. :) Professors here come from all walks of life. Almost all have a PhD. Many of them have worked in their field for a long time and teach on the side. They have worked at major corporations, took on major roles and know what is needed to work in that field. One thing that really amazes me is that so many of these professors have graduated from the most well known and respected schools. Harvard, Yale, UC Berkeley, Emory, University of Chicago, MIT, Cornell, etc... yet, they want to teach here. That says a lot! [ The Pros ] Professors, Tuition cost is low when compared to other top schools in GA. Parking cost is in the fees, it is not extra. The gym here is very nice, you pay for it with your fees, so use it. School library can order almost any book for you from other schools in the system. Small classroom size. School has a good amount of activities. The staff around campus very helpful. Dr. Augustine walked me around the campus to make sure I found a class I was looking for. He is such a nice guy. [ The Cons ] Cafeteria food, could be much healthier. Vending machines sell mostly junk food. Give us better choices. School is not in the best neighbourhood, but that is not their fault. The parking lots are inadequate, so park earlier to make sure you have enough time to get to class, or you will be late. It gets full quick. Some people who visit the library have no respect and do not understand that the "library" is a quite place for those who are studying. I wish people had some class and respected others. My rating of five stars is based on the education provided, value, quality, the professors and the staff. I am not going to take off points due to schools location (it has been here for a long time), a few misguided students, or insignificant things.

The Clayton State University Student Activities Center also known as the SAC is a great place for…read morecollege students and community members to exercise. I just recently started to use the center more often now that I am in my senior year at the school and started training a client here. As a student, we are charged fees, which funds the center, so as students, we may as well use it. They recently replaced a lot of the cardio machines up stairs and added a few new weight machines is great. Now if only they had a swimming pool. Non-students can use the gym here as well for a fee and they offer certified personal trainers. Unlike those found at the majority of gyms, the ones here have a background in exercise science and know proper form, etc. I'd recommend students who are interested in exercising, but need help learning proper technique and how to take part in resistance training to sign up for the free personal training sessions offered in the spring done by the students, it will save you about $250 and you get to work with someone who loves fitness. The SAC offers video games, pool table, table soccer, and other activities for students, so definitely check it out if you are near campus. On November 23, 2020; my son returned home from the program badly bruised. The program insist the…read moreinjuries did not happen under their watch.  11/23/2020 Monday at approximately 10:50am my son. was picked up from his home located in Buckhead and transported via Marta Mobility to Another Chance Day Program 5301 Snapfinger Park Drive; Decatur Ga 30035 (678)-518-1823 where he attends Monday thru Friday 8:30am - 2:30pm After my son left off for the program, I began to start my day and realized that I may need to contact the program to let them know that he was in route on his way to the program; since he hadn't come in at the regular time of 8:30am.  I sent my first text at 11:45am to [no name staff].  Below is the exact text exchange between us.  11:45am  BERNICE - Good Morning, my son is headed to the building on Marta. 11:47am TP - Oh okay, what time will he arrive 11:49am BERNICE - His bus came at 10:50am 11:50am TP - About time he gets here he will have to get back on bus at 230 11:51am BERNICE - He insisted. Lord! He had to get his new Marta Card. Now he has new identification and Marta cards. He think he capital G grown. 11:51am TP -Okay, I just hate for him to bus on the all day long like that. 11:52am BERNICE -Me tooooo. I don't know why they take so dog gone long. Geeez! 11:56am TP - Okay, I continued on my day and at exactly 1:41pm I get a Facebook Messenger Video call from my son.  I answer "Hey son". He was visibly shaken and frantic saying "MOM, look at my face".  He then pulls down his face mask and I see a bump on the right of his forehead, and what looked to be a fresh abrasion underneath his left eye.  It looked as if it had some sort of ointment on it.  He continued to ramble on about being punched in the face 3 times and thrown to the ground by MO. I then ask him where he was and he says he was in TO's office.  He seemed very frantic and because he had about an hour of the day program to go, I didn't want to upset him any further; I told him to not worry about it, and that sometimes that's what happens when you bother people or get into a fight - you get scuffed up and thrown to the ground. Note:  This incident makes for the 3rd altercation he has had with this MO.  My son and I talked for exactly 13 minutes 8 seconds.  While talking with my son I sent TP a text message.  Being that they had 2 prior altercations - I was already warned that if this behavior continued that he would most likely be kicked out of the program.  So...I sent him these exact text messages below 1:45pm BERNICE - My son says he had a "another" fight. He was talking in 3rd person. Maybe he'll keep his hands in his pockets next time - if he gets enough bumps and bruises. I'm gonna keep him home until December or until you guys say otherwise... Yay or Nay. Either way, I personally won't be sending him until December 1st. At this point; he knows better than this fighting crap. smh Lord 1:46pm BERNICE - He facetimed me talking about - "Look at my face".  He has to learn; one way or the other. 2:40pm TP - Ima call you and explain everything I can't right now his been in my office all day, keeping him busy 2:40pm BERNICE -Lord. Note: So while we were texting I remembered that Marta Mobility's automated system called to say that my sons pickup bus would be arriving at 2:32pm so I text right back the message stated below 2:42pm BERNICE - His bus says it's coming at 2:32 pm 2:43pm TP- It's honestly not what you expect It wasn't a fight, he's just been historical 2:47pm BERNICE - 2:49pm BERNICE - I ain't paying no attention to him. I told him, "well sometimes that's what happens when you bother people, you get slammed to the ground and scuffed up". He be needing a beat down every now and again. That dude stay on one. 2:49pm TP - Lol Note: I continued on with my day; expecting to hear from staff or anyone from the program.  Especially since this was his 3rd altercation and had been warned that if he had one more incident he could get suspended indefinitely. I thought it were just another one of his fights and he may have gotten a little bruised - as he has had a few in his past and since being enrolled in the program. It wasn't until my son came home from school at 6:04pm (Marta Mobility has logged into their system - although I don't believe that is an accurate log) that I realized that TP's text stating that it wasn't a fight and that my was being hysterical was an understatement! My son had bandaids on his face, his left eye was black, blue, greenish and purple underneath and around.  He also had an abrasion underneath his right eye that was still bloody.  I was livid!  I waited the remainder of the day for TP to contact me back and he did not. ....
