3/7/22, while doing my laundry, one of the machines I was using started leaking. The owner was notified by his employee, where he turned the machine off, started draining the water once that was completed got his keys to open the machine up. I approached the employee and asked her what is the plan? As I wanted to should I move my clothes to another machine or wait, she told me to ask her boss. I approached him asked him the same question to which he replied you need to be patient; you are irritating me. I was shocked I told him he could not speak to someone like that. He said yes, he can because it is his business and I need to be quiet or he will call the police. I repeated that he cannot talk to someone like that where he told me yes he can and I need to leave. I left out the building with my child got my phone, and returned I sat away from him talking to another customer who saw everything. The owner then approached me with his phone where he had taken a picture of what had happened and said its my fault not his fault I need to look at it he was hostile in front of my child. At that point I continued to ignore him and he walked away. The owner came back banging a chair yelling to the customer I was speaking to telling him you need to put the chair back when you are finished with it. The customer told him he did not use the chair the owner started pointing his finger and the customer telling him I will check the camera to make sure. Before I know it the owner called the police on the man for no reason and stated he wanted him out after all that chaos. He even complained about me to the police. This to me was the owner trying to use the authority of the police to his gain, I was able to finish washing my clothes and leaving. The owner was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional, under no circumstances does owning a business can excuse this type of behavior. read more
