Liquor stores, video gambling parlors, pawn shops, and more Mexican restaurants than you can shake a churro at. Welcome to Melrose Park! I've stopped in here a few times to grab a case of beer and/or bottle of reposado (a.k.a. "the good sh*t") and I've noted each time how vast their selection of tequila is. Like REALLY impressive, rivaling that of the aisles at a Binny's Beverage Depot. There's blanco, anejo, and everything in between. Cheap stuff, top-shelf booze, some ornately decorated and others not. I bought a case of beer - 18 bottles of domestic - for $10 and a bottle of Don Julio at a decent cost. Most of the staff and clientele are Hispanic, and on more than one occasion I've seen shuttle buses picking up or dropping off people in front of the liquor store (not a criticism btw, just a note). Lots of choices and relatively low prices, so despite the dusty shelves and cluttered appearance I'll definitely return next time daddy needs to get his drink on.

When the bottle was running low I went in w/the intent of buying another bottle. By then the price had jumped to $85.00. Now I can't even find this anymore except online w/exorbitant prices. This use to be available but the 25 yr old Yamasaki was named the No 1 single malt in the world selling for 1,000,000 yen (at the time roughly $9,600). Iyad) of this establishment found my lost iPhone…read more Earlier, when I had initially realized that I lost my phone, I activated my Find iPhone app. So when Addy turned my iPhone, he was able to see that the iPhone was currently in 'lost mode' and displayed a contact number to contact me. So he called the provided contact number, and got in contact with me while I was still in the office at work. He told me that he found my iPhone. I offered him a monetary reward for finding my iPhone and contacting me about it, but he denied my offer. I went to JJ Peppers later that evening to meet Addy and to pick up my iPhone from him. I was rather impressed on how clean the store and attached laundromat is. The store had an amazing selection of beer and alcohol. :-D I met Addy at the cashier counter and he greeted me amicably and personably. He's just an honest guy with good morals who's really friendly. I purchased a can of Starbucks Espresso from his store and collect my iPhone from him. Addy's a really cool guy! I would visit this location again for its liquor selection, store cleanliness, as well as for Addy honest and friendly personality.
