When i tried calling this place, the first time no one answered. The second time, it sounded like someone answered but no one said anything, and then the phone hung up. A few hours later I tried again, to which the entitled pos on the phone asked "how many times are you going to call me?" in an extremely irritated tone. I apologized initially, but he continued with his condescending attitude. Rude as hell for no reason.

They also carry a wide range of beer. There's something for everyone! I'm a huge fan of the Eastern European wines. They have 'em! Greek, Bosnian, Montenegrin, Romanian, Russian. Everything is priced to sell. You'd be hard-pressed to find anything over $14 in that section. I highly recommend the Bulgarian Bear's Blood. Not sure what to get or on a budget? Take a gamble! I suggest checking out the "Adult Ball Pit of Beverages" as Maria F. and I have dubbed it. It's their giant clearance bin of wines found at the end of the farthest aisle. The parking lot is a clusterf*ck. You're probably better off finding a street spot.

They are willing to order something that they don't have, and will often make recommendations on what might go well with a liquor, etc. I can't stress how excellent their selection of foreign liquors is, and only with they carried a slightly wider selection of imported beer. Quality.

They added a small section of craft beers recently which is a big plus for me, since I'm a big fan of Lagunitas Ipa, which they carry. People there are friendly and always willing to help you find what you're looking for. Holidays with the family are a bit like choose your own adventure novels…read more Take Path A - the sober route - and you don't have alcohol to help soften grandchild requests, barbs, etc.; the upside is you know you can make a clean getaway. Take Path B - the booze train - and anesthetize yourself against the aforementioned comments, but risk being too sloshed to leave at the end of the night. Even if you choose all the right options, there's no telling if a family get-together will end pleasantly or in a hide the knives scenario. This year erred toward a hide the knives kind of night, by the time I left I was in need of a drink (or three). After a failed booze run to TJ's, I headed for home racking my brain for a liquor store that might be open on Christmas. Fortunately, like a beacon, the lights of USA Beverage called out to me. The store isn't huge, but it has a decent selection of beer. You'll find a nice array of domestics in bottles, cans, sixers and cases. If you're on the hunt for craft beer or imports, you'll probably be disappointed; the selection was mostly mainstream brands like Sierra Nevada, Goose Island and Guinness. I was hoping to pick up some Strongbow, but didn't see it or any hard ciders. The one thing I didn't like was that there weren't prices next to many of the items. This place is convenient, but when I'm not on the hunt for emergency booze, I'd probably head over to Famous. They have a much more robust selection.

Liquorama has this brand, proving what an excellent source that it is for liquor. The only problem: we live in DC and Liquorama cannot ship out-of-state. So: road trip! :-D Julie was great to speak with on the phone and she arranged to hold a couple of bottles for us (there were plenty in stock when we arrived). Gustavo not only showed us around the busy store (Saturday, July 4th) but directed us to a couple of other tequilas, which we happily bought. Although it took us 24 total hours to get what we wanted, it was well worth it. Liquorama is the best!

Tried to open one of the bottles and the cork disintegrated into sawdust consistency into the wine itself. We tasted the wine and it had a foul taste and non-drinkable. Thru it out. The five days in this major high heat in vehicles and locations without some sort of refrigeration was the cause. I Contacted Liquorama, and they blamed me. They said I should have used same day shipping. During this very hot season, they should have mandate this. I would have gladly paid the difference. They refused a refund and I am out $200. Their fault regardless of some unclear rules on shipping. NEVER BUY AGAIN FROM HERE. THEY HAVE CULPABILITY AND THE CUSTOMER SHOULD BE VAIUED.
