The Fordson is one of the most unique hotels I've ever stayed at, and I hope to stay at it again someday! When we arrived for check-in, the lady at the front desk was super friendly and explained to us some of the history of the hotel. It's housed in what used to be a Ford Motor Company assembly plant. Much of the art and decor around the first floor is automobile themed, and there are also some beautiful paintings on loan from the local museum. When we arrived on the fourth floor to find our room, we were impressed with how open the floor was, its wasn't like your typical hotel with narrow hallways, instead it's a wide open floor plan with plenty of space between rooms. Onto the important stuff - our room was cozy and laid out similar to a studio apartment with a couch, coffee table and a writing desk. The spacing was perfect for two people and the windows were large, so we had lots of natural light coming in. The bed alone deserves five stars, it was so cozy and I slept comfortably throughout the night. The bathroom was also extremely spacious with a large walk in shower. I appreciated the peppermint shampoo in the shower, I usually use my own when I travel but the smell of the one provided by the hotel was very pleasant so I had to give it a try. The hotel also has a decently sized gym and a sauna. My spouse and I decided to borrow some of the hotel robes and slippers and go for an evening sauna session which was a nice way to end our night. I wish we had extended our stay, but as we were just road tripping through, we had to get back on the road early the next morning. I would definitely return to the Fordson for a nice getaway, everything about the experience was five stars! read more

The rooms are decent, very modern in terms of the decor and the building has an awesome history. In the rooms the sinks look nice and fit the stlye, but are not very functional. But the water pressure in the shower wasstyle, so kudos there. Beds were typical for a hotel, nothing amazing here. The restaurant was fantastic, great food and drinks though slightly more expensive compared to non hotel options. The pool is small, just for lounging and is shallow not really for kids. And for some reason the crickets really like it, there were tons of them swimming in it. So why the two stars, well a place behind the hotel was holding loud parties until late in the evening/morning on the weekend. So if you are staying here on a Friday or Saturday night be prepared to have your room shaking until after midnight. Seriously, the bedside tables and windows were vibrating in the room. Though it felt like your laying on a massaging table. I would not come back on a weekend unless I didn't plan to go to bed before 1am. Sorry Hyatt but the neighbor ruins it for this location. read more

Imagine waking up with the windows they have and the sun peeks through and hits your face!!! A dream!!! They have so much in this hotel from artwork, coffee at the bodega, restaurant attached. The workers are there to help you get the best of your stay and they are so sweet. The hotel is super clean, as well as you can book your wedding venue or private party event. Stayed at this new luxury boutique hotel for a friend's wedding in downtown Oklahoma City's growing West Village District during a busy weekend, and it was a great experience! The decor is very cool, and the architecture is very historic, where you can definitely tell they converted a former Ford Motor Company Assembly Plant. Check in was very easy, and the staff members were all very friendly. The rooms had gorgeous outside city views, comfortable beds and couches, and refreshing hot showers. They had a nice pool, bar, restaurant, and bodega store in the lobby and ground floor. They offered free shuttle rides to and from the wedding venue, which was nearby at the Civic Center. The penthouse rooftop bar was reserved for an after party when the wedding was finished, and that made the stay even more enjoyable, with celebrations into the late hours of the night. Definitely worth checking out and staying a night or two! read more

We flew into OKC from California for a wedding and loved the Fordson Hotel. Really cool old ford showroom building that got converted to a hotel. They have a really cool pool area with cabanas, great restaurants and spots to grab drinks and coffee. I have been sending pics to the car guys I know of how cool this historic building is. I would definitely stay here again. The staff have all been great. Highly recommend eating at the sister building "The Jones Assembly" right next door....also a cool open historic building with great food and drinks. read more

An interesting hotel (used to be th 21C) that was converted from a Ford manufaturing facility (then bought by Fred Jones). Traditional look and deco (we were here 10 days before Christmas) was mostly gold and green motif. Room is designed in a semi-industrial way - TV is in front of the bed but in the middle of the room (between closet & bed). Two big issues for hotel - the housekeeping is atrocious.. we called twice and did not get the room cleaned and the temperature control did not work well. At the end, we ended up just asking them to bring up some towels and take the boxes out. Disappointing read more

I booked this for my birthday April 27th, but sadly ended up getting food poisoning that day! They let me change the reservation to the following weekend, no fee. Upon arrival, the front desk staff were wonderful. The interior has changed as it used to be 21C. My husband and I were sad when we found out as it used to be our go-to hotel when we came to visit. Now we live here and wanted it for a short getaway. We still have it a chance even though it slightly changed. With this change, I think the interior looks marvelous. I could say it looks better than it did before. The vintage vibe is wonderful. There is a little library are, a sitting area, a restaurant and a bodega (cafe) all downstairs. There are still some art museum pieces as well. There is a pool on the lower level as well, a small one but very cute. Upon entering our room, I saw a card from the staff wishing me a happy birthday and chocolate covered strawberries set up in a cool serving plate, covered. The room was spacious and has everything we possibly could need. Microwave, fridge, coffee machine, water bottles, and our favorite part- the tv that had phone hookup. We were able to stream our own shows by bluetooth. The bed was very comfortable and the charging port above the bed were useful. Everything about our stay was perfect. Parking is in a garage across the street. They say it is $5 a night but we have never had to pay it. I'm not sure if it's because it's a weekend when we have stayed. read more

Early June 2025; The Fordson is a place so cool looking that you want it to be amazing....but... There are so many shortcomings that I cannot recommend. Positives: architecture is killer and the rooms are spacious. The Main restaurant Mary Eddys is excellent. Eat there and then leave please. Negs: one of the poorest managed hotels I've ever stayed at. AC units are ancient and don't work correctly. Beds OK not great. Other reviews mention this and it's a fact- forget using the pool and the bar. You can look at the pictures online, but you won't be using it bec they BOOKED A PRIVATE PARTY from 3pm to 7pm on Sat. You can't find any staff during the day so you will be on your own at an urban hotel in west downtown OKC. Forget it. I'm all about 2nd chances and discussed all of this and more with mgmt. "We'll adjust your bill . We will make it right". Didn't happen which is why you are reading this. So now if you spend 2 sleepless nights in OKC and drop the better part of grand that's your own fault pal. read more

Would have given a 5 stars, but the employees are the face of the company/establishment and when you have a worker doing the minimum, and just overall short, it's just very unfortunate that I'm on the fence about recommending this hotel. The stay was comfortable as for the beds and spacious room. We had electrical issues that took them a day to figure out, same worker that just seemed to not want to do her job, let the electrician in without my permission as we were away, didn't even call until 8 hours later to inform us job was done, but to our surprise it was not. Asked for towels, and she had my disabled 26 years of service veteran father go down and get it. Wish I knew her name, but she was there on Halloween wearing her ghost earrings. read more

Hotel lovers! This is an outstanding hotel. Set in an old Ford model T factory in a super accessible part of Oklahoma City. The lobby is expansive yet feels great. The front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful. But the real treat is when you get out of the elevator to go to your room. The hallways are massive, you don't even feel like you are in a hotel. We absolutely loved the suite. Incredible tall ceilings, fantastic linens, and super big in today's hotel world. Also, I have to say that it was very fairly priced. You have to check out the restaurant downstairs as well. This is a must stay in Oklahoma City. It's not like any hotel you've ever stayed in. Can't wait to go back!! read more

There's a freaking club across the street from this hotel!!! It was super loud, we couldn't even sleep. We called the front desk to ask about it; the desk clerk doesn't even give a shit. He's told us "I don't work there, I work here." No sympathy for the guests. Terrible attitude. He's acting like we were bothering him. Shouldn't be working in the service industry. Upon our arrival, it became evident that we had fallen victim to a scam. Despite our scheduled check-in time of 3:00 PM, we were left waiting until 7:00 PM before being acknowledged. Throughout the interminable four-hour ordeal spent in the lobby, the extent of their compensation was a measly single complimentary drink each. All while our luggage was lying unattended in the lobby. For 4 hours. Adding insult, three days prior to our arrival, we were assured--both verbally and financially--that a rollaway bed would be provided due to the unavailability of rooms with two queen-sized beds. Given my height of 5 feet, I assumed it would suffice. Repeated assurances from the receptionist only further compounded our disappointment, as the promised accommodation was nowhere to be found upon our return from dinner at 9:30 PM. We were informed that the establishment had run out of rollaway beds altogether, leaving me with no option but to endure a night on the unforgiving floor, given the impossibility of fitting onto the inadequate couch at the foot of the bed. In a pitiful attempt to rectify their oversight, they provided us with additional bedding, with holes the size of softballs, rendering to sandpaper rather than the promised comfort of blankets. The pool bar, which was once so pretty and fun, was so sad. The outdoor bar was completely closed, on spring break. Writing this from the floor at 10:30pm, no bed. read more

It was a beautiful place with friendly staff and excellent hospitality! When our rooms were delayed they covered the cost of a drink from their cafe while we waited. We made great conversation with the staff about what brought us to OKC and they were kind enough to add a mini-fridge to our room at no cost. The next morning came with issues however when around 6:45 am the power abruptly went out throughout our floor leaving us quite literally in the dark with what was going on. Apparently this sort of thing had happened before as we'd seen on previous reviews. That was pretty disappointing. Additionally though this is no fault of the hotel both the pool and the bar felt unwelcoming to my sisters when they went as they were in fairly close proximity to other guests who were making them uncomfortable. That coupled with the cost of the room makes it hard to say whether this was the best choice for our visit. Overall a mixed experience over the course of a 1 night stay. read more

Hotel guest come second at this hotel! Staff were great rooms are clean. When my wife and I booked this room we were planning on a nice night at the pool with some drinks at the pool bar. We got down to the pool at the same time that a large group of loud obnoxious women showed up off of the street. Evidently people that aren't hotel guest can use the small pool that isn't even big enough to accommodate hotel guest as long as they buy food or drinks. We noticed that there were some hotel guest relaxing in the pool area when these women showed up and they all left. They basically got pushed out of the pool due to the women being loud obnoxious and every single one of them taking selfie videos. Needless to say we won't be staying at this hotel on our next trip. read more

We have crossed the country many times and this is our favorite hotel anywhere. Set in the gorgeous old Ford assembly plant, and entirely refurbished, it is the height of industrial chic. All of its spaces are vaulting and enormous and very cool. The staff is super helpful and kind, and the rooms are almost hilariously huge with a deliciously comfy bed, great bathroom, spectacular shower, and ours was super quiet. The giant hallways are laden with art and not the typical crappy hotel art. It's fun to go to every floor to explore. There is parking across the street for $5 or valet parking ... and it is PET FRIENDLY. Our dog loved it. There is even an area in the back where the dog can be off leash and it's a short walk to the botanical gardens. All of the restaurants in the hotel have good healthy food. This hotel is an 11 out of 10. read more
