Lots of sexualized decor. Kinda overkill and just odd.

WARNING CATFISH HOTEL! Where do I even begin?? Please read!!!! My husband and I are not picky people and really just needed a place to sleep over the weekend while we were in town. The rooms are tiny and the walls are paper thin. Bed is very small- Full size. We have a queen at home and it is not a queen. Think college dorm room accommodations. All of the cute pictures you see online- do not shine through in person. It was dingy and felt more like a rent by the hour type place- if you catch my drift. The decor in our room was so odd. Lots of semi-nudity artwork. Also, the search history on the tv was pretty wild. e.g. "Sex music". Location is not great. You can hear all of the traffic and riff raff outside. Lots of sketchy people around the property. Multiple times we heard altercations outside between motel guests and strangers around the property. Our biggest complaint is the fact that there was an all out BRAWL in the middle of the night directly outside of our room in the parking lot. We were actually scared to even stand up out of bed, because there was talk of a gun outside. It was completely insane! The police even showed up! Sirens, lights, fighting, screaming and a gun. We were both anxiety ridden all night and didn't sleep a wink. Fighting continued throughout the night as well. DO NOT STAY HERE. Swing by and take a picture for the gram if you want, but do NOT stay here! $100/night is ridiculous for what you get. NOT worth it. Also, all the cute stuff you see in the pictures in the room and lobby and ridiculously marked up. We were charged $4.35 for 2 generic small water bottles. Oh yeah, one last thing, we were in town celebrating our anniversary. Put it on the reservation and it was never once mentioned. Left a message with front desk staff for management to contact me- still haven't heard anything. I was also told that I was not the only guest who was waiting on a call back from management.

This is an adorable oasis in OKC. It will be a great place to meet up if you have a group that's using the whole hotel.

Fun! That's the first thing that comes to mind when I think of this place. I love color and this place certainly doesn't lack in it. From the lobby to the grout in the bathroom tile, there's plenty of lively colors and I couldn't get enough of it. As a place to stay, this was top notch for anyone that wants a staycation, a place to crash after an event or is only in town for a short while. There's not much extra space in the room, but if you're traveling light then you won't need it. But it has all the amenities you need, such as a fridge, hair dryer, electric tea pot for coffee and a fantastic a/c system. The a/c was a huge perk because you can control it and it wasn't taking up space in the room. It worked quite well! The other technology perk was the smart TV, which enabled you to seamlessly login to all your steaming channels and watch your shows. And if you need a snack, the options in the room are REASONABLY PRICED. That definitely makes them quite tempting. The room decor is fantastic! Our room had a globe-strobe light, creating a star-filled ceiling. There are strong 1960s/free-love feelings and it's a fun change for a hotel room. I'll definitely be back for another night out and a mini escape from the city. The icing on the cake is that you don't have to pay to park and your car is right outside your door.

Classen Inn has more style packed into one room than most hotels have in the entire building. I love the bright, funky design that's woven into each element - the exterior colors, the lobby/bodega, and the rooms. There are even unique snacks in each room! During my stay, I ended up hanging out in the Superette for a while and enjoyed their fantastic selection of wine. I can't wait until it gets warm so I can go back and sit on the Palm Springs-style patio! My friend and I had adjoining queen rooms for our stay with our own private patio. Located close to Midtown, Downtown and West Village, Classen Inn is the perfect place to stay if you're in need of a staycation or just passing through!

The newly renovated Classen Inn is perfect for an OKC staycation or dreamy respite for travelers. Conveniently located in west downtown OKC, the Classen Inn has all the amenities of the urban core, and is only a scooter or bike ride away from countless breweries, restaurants, and local coffee shops. Every detail of your stay has been considered from the thoughtful collection of in-room snacks available for purchase and complimentary bike share to the Superette stocked with reasonably priced bottles of vino. Make sure you bring your A-game because every part of the Classen Inn is a photo opp! The rooms are beautifully styled and the retro chic details are evident from the handpainted murals to cozy patio. Highly recommend!

This spot is fun! Classen Inn was the perfect spot for a staycation. Cool decor, super cozy bed, and ridiculously affordable wine selection at the Superette (in their lobby). We had a few bottles while hanging in their flamingo chairs!

You walk into the front office/lobby combo to check in. Makaela greets you and gets everything set up. Instead of a room key, you get a card with a door code and complete instructions on how to enter and exit your room. The also hosts the Superette, a convenience store with everything you need to complete your stay, from wine, beer, sodas, and snacks you can grab something to enjoy right there or take it back to your room. There's also complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby space. And let me tell you, that tea spills it all with its catchy names and timely political references. My favorite is the RBG tea because In Ruth we Trust. After you get your card, head to your room and enter via a tech savvy Yale lock, and walk in and absorb the Googie vibes and 1960's decor. It's a whole mood and I am here for it. The detail to the art, decor, and even the chenille bedspread gives homage to the retro feel Classen Inn not only tries for, but nails perfectly. The room amenities include a smart television, alarm clock, a retro Frigidaire mini fridge, water kettle with tea and coffee, the best smelling soap and lotion (this brand is my new fav), and a Mini-ette. What's a Mini-ette? A small version of the Superette from the lobby right in your room for you to enjoy! The open shower concept is so relaxing and makes washing off the day even better. The room is temperature controlled with a remote that is Wifi connected to the a/c and heater combo-nothing is more important than being comfortable and you can control it from your fingertips. The Classen Inn offers FREE bike and bike helmet rentals so you can explore OKC while cruising around in style. The outdoor patio area has different seating for whatever you're there to do-get some work done, have a happy hour, or enjoy the sunset. The location is close to spots like Sunnyside Diner or Revolucion that you can walk to and enjoy a bite. Add the Classen Inn to your itinerary for your next Staycation or visit to OKC-you won't be disappointed.

Perhaps most importantly, the temperature was really well controlled -- a must given that it was only about 15 degrees outside! One word: WOW! No wait, two words: OH WOW!…read more I was recently in OKC to help out at the Yelpies, and the next day my colleague and I decided to have a celebratory brunch before I boarded my flight home to the PNW. Knowing my love for eclectic places with a local vibe, she picked Bradford House. All I can say is...why isn't this place closer to home?! Bradford House is a hotel/restaurant/bar located in an old house which doesn't look super exciting on the outside, but once inside the door I you're greeted by bright, vivid colors, whimsical decor, and all the little touches that make a place special. We meandered through the adorable bar and to the self-service counter to order our food. The server/cashier was absolutely adorable. I wish I remembered her name! She was so helpful and friendly, throughout our entire visit. I ordered the eggs benedict because, well, who can resist an eggs benny on a cold Thursday morning? I also got a glass of their fresh-squeezed OJ, and we shared a French press. The coffee was divine, and I was only a few sips in when my benny arrived. It was SO delish. It had the classic benny components but also a nice shmear of their house-made, semi-spicy bacon jam to put it over the top. This was six days ago and I am still craving a repeat! My work friend enjoyed her breakfast as well, and after we were done we even managed to plug into their wi-fi and get a few minutes of post-event tasks done before I headed to the airport. When in OKC, if you're looking for an amazing brunch, go here no matter what!

Let's start with the good. The breakfast platter definitely hit the spot. The eggs were softly scrambled, the bacon was perfectly crispy, and the potatoes were well seasoned and tender. The jam was house made and it was delicious. Now, the salmon... unfortunately, that was a letdown. I could tell it was overcooked before the first bite. If only I had some grits. They do offer fresh pastries to order, and if I'm in the area again, I'd give them a try. #GratuityAdded

I'm usually a basic Courtyard girl, but splurged here and went for the king suite; so glad I did. The suite was huge and I loved having 1.5 bathrooms. It had two massive TVs in it with ample chairs, tables, and a super soft material couch included. We could have spent the weekend just watching football in the suite! The large, beautiful full body mirror in the entry hallway was fantastic. The added details were amazing as well; for example, when you walk into the bathroom in the dark, lights at your feet come on so you can see without it being too bright. They also provided ear plugs, eye masks, and fresh linen spray. There was ample lighting in all rooms that you could easily adjust as well. Some hotels have dark rooms, but you could make the suite as bright or dark as you wanted! Bed was comfortable, and I heard minimal noise from others. The hotel area on the second floor is absolutely stunning, and I LOVED their Halloween decor. Valet was easy to manage, and checkin/out was a breeze as well. The front desk was super helpful. I found out last minute that the concert tickets I bought needed to be printed, but there is no hotel business center and the nearby FedEx is closed on the weekends. The front desk graciously printed them for me even though it was a bit of a logistical mess with my app; they were patient and kind. The Vault bar downstairs is one-of-a kind. Go early to check it out as it gets packed late at night. However, it's a HUGE bar with plenty of soft and comfortable seating. Awesome decor. Don't miss this one! This hotel is pricey, but I can see why. I look forward to going back around Christmas one year to see their decor. This one will be difficult to beat!
